I don’t agree that Jones doesn’t want Kaminski or that Kaminski was “dropped…for a substantial part of last season”. That feels like making things up to suit an argument as Kaminski played in 37 out of 46 league matches last season and was clearly first choice this pre-season.
Incorrect, you are either making up stuff to suit your agenda or misremembering. Neither is forgivable. Kaminski played the last 3 games due to a Mannion howler match. Yes he was our first choice until the end at the very crunch of the season and then Jones dropped him. You can look through the match squads yourself. Being dropped for 9 matches as a first choice keeper is not insignificant. I accept your apology.
Utter nonsense, Kaminski starter 80% of league matches last season and most of this pre-season.

This is a big ‘ouch’ unless he’s already been sold.

Needless to say I have, once again, had the last laugh.
Ah yes, Jones is obviously being very sincere when he says Tiernan Brookes is better than Kaminski.

He is doing what he should be doing and bombing him out of the squad because he is trying to force a move

Looks like Nath agrees with me. Tommy has nothing on Willy. Imagine thinking Kaminski is better than Mannion 🤣

Ironically Kaminski was saving shots like their goal regularly last season….. Mannion seems to have got the Kaminskis in terms of not going for corners and punching.

They are both equally not good enough but if TK doesn’t want to be here then there is only one choice

I fully expect Kaminski to leave the club this week.
I have no idea of the real reason he wants to leave but I'm sure it will happen.
I just hope whoever we bring is a replacement is better than Mannion because we don't need him as 1st choice for the season ahead

Not really, he played TK for last season and he came out the team due to injury. If TK goes we'll be signing a new first choice.

I know. Mannion should really be 2nd choice if we had a keeper at the club better than him and hopefully we can get a proper no1 in. As Nath said, he picked his 2 best keepers yesterday.

We need to move Kaminski on pronto because Charlton can't afford to pay their number 3 keeper 20k a week 🧐

It's a tricky one with him because we're all speculating on the reasons. If he were say wanting out for personal, emotional or wellbeing issues then fair enough. If he were being an arse in any way I'd less sympathetic. Nathan's reactions around this "selected best keepers " comment make me think the latter.

You'd hope Kaminski is already out the door otherwise it's a bit of a petulant and counter-productive answer to the question asked.

I said after the Reading friendly that Kaminski made no effort to save the 1st & 3rd goals and his effort for the 2nd when he went down reluctantly in stages was pathetic.

The only thing I couldn't understand was how the majority who watched the same footage "didn't see it".

I never rated him from his debut when he looked like he had no clue as to correct positioning, whether he should come out or stay and seemed too scared to come off his line to attempt to collect or punch any crosses.

He's poor for a Championship keeper and I'm grateful that he won't feature for us again.

Would need them to accept an offer for Toth first who did start for them on Friday.

He’s always going to be linked with Blackburn considering their no.1 is likely off and he’s had good success there.

He’s clearly told the club he doesn’t want to be here but doubt there’s anything Blackburn can offer him we can’t so would be surprised if he ends up there

Must be. Jones is pretty good at keeping shtum when all around is breaking at the seams.
For him to mention it says he's done

I said the same thing with conceded free kicks at Swansea (last game of the season) and Reading, it just looked like he was in training and it didn’t matter if he didn’t make an attempt for either.

So not only is Kaminski a shit keeper it turns out he’s also a bit of a ****

Always something about him that made we wary and not just his fantastic ability to parry the ball to the opposition

    Bye bye

All keepers make the odd mistake but Kaminski never gives off good vibes.

Deano dropped a clanger at home to Swindon and his kicks often went into touch but he was a top keeper for Charlton in Championship and Premier.

Pope still had the weakness with the hard shot low down which on a couple of occasions went through his legs but his ceiling was high (it needed to be) and Nick has had a great career.

Philips mainly stopped on his line and had a good spell eventually but fortunately his antics at Wembley didn't cost CAFC the match.

Will Mannion's can go from the sublime to the ridiculous. Double butter fingered when costing a goal last season but also the record 10 good saves in a match.

If Kaminski goes we need another keeper who is capable of being number 1.
Arthur O seems to be similar to Mannion; good saves but also some poor mistakes.

He’s never looked happy . He doesn’t look like he enjoys it when we win and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a picture of him smile. He also doesn’t seem to take part the social media clips .
He must be a bundle of laughs in the dressing room .

I'm confused. I thought TK was leaving because he wanted to leave. Now it reads like NJ wants him to leave. I'll guess we'll never know which.
The Alfie May departure was clouded in mystery, until the facts came out about his brother.
Things are not always black and white.
Sometimes the real reason behind a player's transfer always remains a mystery.

Not sure Blackburn has reached the 20th Century yet 🤔
Went into a pub there late one night when looking for directions and it was like entering the Slaughtered Lamb.

So I cant give full details but NJ and Kaminski had a falling out last season which im sure everyone remembers and he was dropped for Mannion then WM had a bit of a mare and Jones was forced to recall TK. Its a case of forgiven but not forgotten, NJ does not want TK at the club and TK is happy to leave as long as he doesnt lose money.

    Edit -

I wouldnt be suprised if we see something similar with Doc

I take it Doc hasn’t thrown his toys out the pram like TK ? . He doesn’t seem the type.

Doesn’t lose money may be a big problem he’s not the worse keeper in the world but does in no way justify that wage for anyone willing to look at him
