I’ll defend 2 per person, as I did earlier, which is, 1) it makes away tickets easier for parents, you get certainty that your child will be with you, 2) the ticketing system does a terrible job of allocating points to kids 3) I think it’s probably pretty marginal in terms of sales, before it gets to the VG free for all stage 

Another thing that I think is wrong is, my son bought 2 away tickets for Coventry last season, I was 20 points less than him and the phase he could purchase tickets at so he couldn't allocate mine, got in touch with the ticket office during the week after the game to get the ticket and points allocated and was told I wouldn't get the points as it didn't reach my phase before selling out.

If people are complaining that an away game at another London club is too hard, imagine being a Plymouth or Carlisle supporter.

There are 3,000 VG members - and those that don't qualify for an earlier phase will be able to get 2 tickets at Phase 7 even if they have never been to a single game.

The phasing will never be perfect for everyone but I think the club generally get it about right - but the one thing I'd agree with is this. Surely someone who's renewed their ST continuously for 10, 20 or 30+ years (especially during the dross of L1) should have a level of priority over someone who, for example, has had 2 years as a ST holder now we're back in the Championship

This............an extra 5 points initially incrementally that dont get reset every 2-3 seasons

extra points for renewing per season

1-3 (seasons)  = 5 points per season
4-6 = 10 points
7-9 = 15 points
10-12 = 20 points
13-15 = 25 points
16-20 = 30 points

and so on

Thats per season added to your total because it shows real commitment

All this would do is change the bands and hurt kids chances of going. I would guess that most ST holders who go to away games are fairly long standing anyway and so would also get all those points. You'd have an extra 30 points but so would loads of other people meaning it realistically makes little difference

I just believe that renewing your season ticket over a sustained period regardless of what division we play in should entitle you to more points
