I know there could be reasons why some people don't, or possibly can't, but I am talking about people who appear to be perfectly capable of going upstairs on a very crowded bus, but choose not to. They can't all have genuine reasons for choosing to get in the way?

The poncy scarves worn by Philip Mould on Fake or Fortune. For some reason they irritate the f out of me.

As does me saying 'Mould!' in a plummy tone when he appears. Mrs Idle finds that very irksome.

My internet connection gibbing out just before my ticket phase was about to start and me being stuck on the phone to the provider's support service. Thankfully, my son sorted out the ticket for me. Phew.

I think “scarves” was the only bit of that I understood.

Getting your last little pre-holiday laundry load out of the washing machine only to find some idiot* left a tissue in their shorts pocket so all the little bits now need to be picked off.

Oh boy. I was skint as a kid and I mean skint. The 10p it used to cost was a lot of money for me. I would walk from my house in Crescent Rd .
To the Heights and up over and in by what used to be called the laundry.
Also if the stewards were about I used to slide under the turnstile.
And you are right it was wrong , but hey I can’t turn the clock back .
Must of done it 50+ times. Didn’t always work. But mostly it did.
Sorry @ Six-a-bag of nuts. If my anecdotes are not believable, and the fact my Mum used to sing Little White Bull by Tommy Steele to me as a toddler. That even in the depths of her dementia that tune would make her smile and me choke up.
So @ Six-a-bag of nuts I will happily buy you a beer.
I am B block North Lower, F Row.
Come and shout out and I will be glad to get you a pint.
    So don’t be a stranger.
I thought the best way was behind the old uncovered end, up the wall and into the gents toilet, the one without the roof.  In the winter you could lower yourself down through the steam, but you didn't wear your plimsolls.

Watched the Lucian Freud episode on catch up last night, and noticed Phil wasn't wearing a poncy scarf!

I agree entirely, however a mate did explain it to me once.

Basically it takes them a long while to get up a head of steam, if they slow down, especially on an upward gradient, they take ages to get going again. When they are under time pressure due to tachographs or tough deadlines every second counts.

I genuinely don't understand what the fuss is about. As a lifelong republican, I recognise that they have as much right to be here as anyone else. Whatever they have done, or not, there is no way on earth they are the worst of the royal family.

People that stop randomly in the middle of walkways/channels at the airport. If you want to stop, move off to the side so we can all get through!

It’s a well known thing that a large majority of humans lose all brain function when they step into an airport

Home is always home, in some ways I’ve turned my back on the UK and have no intention of ever returning  permanently. (I know you’ll read this mum, I’ll always love you)

However having the safety net of being able to return at anytime was huge to me, especially early on.

If I can do it, why can’t they?

Because they wanted to get away from the media and Harry stupidly wrote a book which has caused embarrassment and - surprise surprise- media attention.
I’m guessing you didn’t leave the uk to avoid the media, write a book slagging off your well known family. Oh and are you royal? So it makes a big difference.

Couldn't agree more. One of the worst places on earth for people sticking their head up their arse starting at the flight departure boards at the tops of the escalators.

It's the huge amount of airtime that the news that Harry & Megan are returning to the UK, is getting, that annoys me.

BBC Breakfast had a reporter outside Windsor Castle this morning. When the studio presenter asked her if there were any updates, she said no. The report could have been done from the studio, not by having a reporter standing outside Windsor castle, unable to report anything new.

BBC had a reporter at Buckingham Palace yesterday even though there was no royal there 😀

Why do you care? Especially when other members of the same family are literal nonces.

Couldn't care what the  whole sorry family do. Provided it doesn't involve public money. Also Mr AMW must  face cross examination under oath.
