Does seem that we need to be careful not to vilify TK too much because from the outside looking in, it doesnt seem like a straightforward case of him not wanting to be here and trying to force a move. If he was not wanted, dropped, and bought back in because his replacement was pants? Well at the very least I can see why he wouldnt want to lose money.
If for whatever reason his move falls through we cant burn bridges, otherwise we are left with Mannion and Brooks. And last season Mannion was so bad that NJ bought TK back in despite the fact that apparently he and TK fell out?
All seems a total mess TBH3 -
It's a shame it's become such a concern for the club. We don't want to lose money on him, but we also can't risk dropping points, as the Reading performance showed would happen if he was considered one of our best two goalies! :-/We signed him after a season in which he underperformed his xG. Those metrics do provide useful insight, as we saw last season.0

I’m sure he was injured, rather than dropped.
40 seems too young to be losing my marbles.5 -
After Jones comments seems we’re already past that point and the fact that Okonkwo deal is progressing means we don’t see a way back for TK. He’s got to go we just have to try and make the best deal possible for ourselvesDamoNorthStand said:Does seem that we need to be careful not to vilify TK too much because from the outside looking in, it doesnt seem like a straightforward case of him not wanting to be here and trying to force a move. I’m with you and remember Mannion only coming in when Kaminski being injured.Stu_of_Kunming said:I’m sure he was injured, rather than dropped.

AO then comes straight into the side.0 -
Wasn’t this when Jones said TK had tripped over and no one bought it?Stu_of_Kunming said:I’m sure he was injured, rather than dropped.

My understanding is that TK hasnt thrown his toys out of the pram and is prepared to play if called uponBedsaddick said:
I take it Doc hasn’t thrown his toys out the pram like TK ? . He doesn’t seem the type.Radostanradical said:So I cant give full details but NJ and Kaminski had a falling out last season which im sure everyone remembers and he was dropped for Mannion then WM had a bit of a mare and Jones was forced to recall TK. Its a case of forgiven but not forgotten, NJ does not want TK at the club and TK is happy to leave as long as he doesnt lose money.
Edit -
I wouldnt be suprised if we see something similar with Doc4 -
Which is why any deal that sees him leave, especially if as reported its to Dutch side would see us pay out a certain amount to TK to cover the difference in wages or if loan cover some of his salary.Crispywood said:
Doesn’t lose money may be a big problem he’s not the worse keeper in the world but does in no way justify that wage for anyone willing to look at himRadostanradical said:So I cant give full details but NJ and Kaminski had a falling out last season which im sure everyone remembers and he was dropped for Mannion then WM had a bit of a mare and Jones was forced to recall TK. That phrase . You’ve either heard it or you’ve made it up, but it doesn’t need a lot of understanding .Radostanradical said:

Surely we must be confident that we’re able to offload Kaminski if we’ve brought in Okonkwo.0
-
I had really high hopes for TK when he arrived shame it hasn't worked out.
Wish him well should he move on.3 -
I ahd high hopes for Kaminski when he was brought in, then i read what the Luton fans said about him (good shot stopper on his day, cannot command his box, cant catch) and I saw him play for us and from that moment on I've been hoping we can offload him. I dont wish him any ill will, as i dont for ahadme but i wish we hadn't bought them in the first place2

AO speaking to the club about the goalkeeping group
”It’s a young group, we’re all a similar age”
Unless TK has de aged a few years he clearly wasn’t around today2 -

Obviously said in jest, but in hindsight, realise such things can't be taken for granted these days.
