    According to AI:

Under English FA and Premier League domestic transfer rules, a 5% solidarity contribution (£2.55 million) is deducted from the total £51 million fee to be distributed among the clubs that trained the player between ages 12 and 23
This is the FIFA rule for cross border transfers, but because all the clubs involved (including us) are in the same country, the rule doesn’t apply. We get nothing.

Gemini reckons Charlton are due £1.9m from the transfer

Edit - And then I searched again and it says we get nothing.

Mystic Meg is pretty sure too. Full circle, an inept former CEO sold him for cash with no sell on

Adele Cliff: I hate AI because it keeps trying to steal the jobs I love, like creative writing and being confidently wrong.

Had injuries worked out differently for Gomez, we could well have produced an England centre-back pairing from the same academy cohort. Not bad.

Gomez is a classic example of you can take the boy out of Charlton but not Charlton out of the boy with his injuries

It’s sickening the pathetic money we have raised for our players over the years when you look at the gazillions palace have brought in , yes due to our relative positions in the footballing world but still annoying how cheap we are  as a club to get raided.

Two years younger than Lloyd Jones, the current best defender in the world.
