My stream was fucked for the first 3 minutes, glad it came back on for the Jones goal or I’d be shopping for a new TV
Even if that pen had gone in, that was an unreal performance the likes we haven’t seen in god knows how long. Credit to NJ and to all the players, that was special!3 -
Danny McNamara has the energy of a man who will perennially finish 3rd in POTY.Absolutely brilliant result. Went at them from the start, didn’t drop off when we got the goal and then held out for the win even with the ref doing his best to stop us. Superb start13

Wow, stand up and take a bow gents.
This is what all the misery is for, these days, these moments.
Enjoy your evening ladies and gents.Bloody superb.P.s our CB scored an overhead kick wtf!23 -
makes up for their lot not voting for Count Binface
that Tata bloke is fucking useless. as is that defender of theirs as is their ground as is their support. Schooled by a proper team..17 -
Taty Castellanos, I don't want to tar every Argentinian footballer with the same brush, but that dive, then the ridiculous stutter penalty that he missed, summed up everything I bloody hate about them as a footballing nation.55

22% possession. Wow.
Felt we made hard work of that last 15/20 minutes, but that's what we are about still. Subs didn't quite work.
looking forward to some stories from the home end too from those unable to get in the away end.5 -
Not in the slightest biased, very salty though!!😂kidbrookeaddick said:My wet spam mate was at the match and said we were shite and they were all over us. Said the ref was a cheat disallowing 2 goals for them and should have given them another pen. Reckoned our goals were both very lucky1 -
Never in doubt...2

Okonkwo was excellent. Well positioned for everything and unfortunate to concede after a fine save.19

.and Big Billy, how could I forget himcrookester said:Superb performance. Carey frustrated but everyone else was at least a 7/10 imho. Leaburn and Campbell played out of their skins, as did McNamara and Coventry. Very good debut from Okonkwo. Didn't see us getting anything from this...just can't stop smiling!6 -
Absolutely brilliant and loving winding my West Ham family members up!6

Can't blame them, they were following @ForeverAddickted and his updates on the match thread ;-)ProperCharlton said:In Vietnam keeping up to date via Livescore and Twitter. Got a notification to say we'd conceded in 94th minute and drew. Checked twitter and saw they'd actually missed a late penno and we'd won. Emotions all over the place. Let's fucking go. Time for more beers

Unbelievable!
Unreal effort.

Good to see that our "useless strikers" Leaburn and Mbick performed well, and that our "weak midfield" didn't completely crumble

God we have the best manager. What he’s done with us in the last 2 and a half years is phenomenal.67

It shocks me how many football seasons fans have been through on here, yet they still read so much into pre season friendlies.balham red said:B-b-but we lost 3-0 to Reading in pre season3 -

Magnificent performance all round. Some strange decisions though, not least the ridiculous penalty. Still as Shakespeare noted following similar bad fait, all's well that ends well.4

Would have been criminal had we not won that... West Ham are still adjusting to life in the Championship, still need to learn how to win again, and clearly aren't working as a team yet... was probably the best time to face them as a result, and they never really looked liked threatening, their goal came out of nothing, and their one serious threat on goal came briefly off the back of that.We threatened constantly on the counter and the addition of Jes Rak-Sakyi could be huge... if we keep them fit could be a threat for anyone at this level... thats going to be the biggest struggle this season though... keeping players fit... as we didnt have the depth last year, and suffered as a result when the games started to pile up, and we couldn't cope with the rotation.Onwards and Upwards... Will enjoy this whilst it lasts!!Delighted for Tyreece - Was lovely to see him smiling so broadly when he scored24

Danny Macnamara laughing at Taty right in his face after he missed the penalty. We've absolutely missed having someone that's a complete fucking windup in the team. I love him already, couldn't give a shit about who he played for previously even now70

@ForeverAddickted I swore in front of my boy and upset my wife because of your updates! 🤣.
I'll forgive you. Absolutely buzzing right now!!!
Up the fucking Addicks!15 -
Outstanding performance 💪. Arthur didn’t have much to do but looked like he’s been playing for us for ever. Danny Mac I forgive you for playing for millwall, Lloyd and billy immence but TC…..double anything you’ve offered, what a start to the season 👌5

Superb performance. Thought we made it far too difficult for ourselves in the last 15 minutes but glad we managed to grind it out.Front 3 superb in the first half and thought the defense were very comfortable playing the ball on the floor.5
