I'd hope a lot of add ons to get it near £7M, like promotion.

The detail deserves a promote. A photo of rodwell on the wall and a 3pm kick off
as it’s almost certainly AI instead of hand-drawn, put that promote on ice.

Hearing from my usual reliable source that it is in fact Sam Rak-Sakyi that we're signing for £5m after his release from Chelsea.
    Heard it here first

I really think we do not need JRS. His record is not that great/overrated  and we have Godden, Leaburn, Grant, MBick and TC. Better to strengthen elsewhere.

    Charlton - League 1: 15 goals in 43 games

Sheff United: 7 goals in 34 games

Obscure Turkish team: 4 goals in 11 games

    Stoke: 2 goals in 15

    Overhyped IMHO

I very rarely comment... but what a silly post.
Made worse by the fact that he made an identical post on 19 August and loads of people pointed out that JWS is a winger and not a striker.
    who is JWS?

I'm looking forward to the return of JRS. I think it's one of those situations where we have a massive advantage over every other club chasing him, as being at a club where he's already loved by the fans, with players he knows like TC and not having to move will really help his game thrive this season.

It also helps massively that this is NJ Charlton mark 2. Apart from the essential change of formation, NJ clearly wants us to be more attacking this season, and thus somewhere an attacking winger will get a chance to shine, whereas last season's tactics were effective but quite route 1 at times.

Not bothered by Holsgrove, as we've done enough business already in midfield. I also think that a major strength we have is that we have L1 players who have stepped up, and indeed are our best players at the moment. I hate it when teams quickly junk the team that got them promoted, as they seem to lose their soul a bit.

Great news, and credit must go to the owners - obviously thrown some dough at TC and Lloydy amongst others, and rumoured to be coughing to the tune of another £5m if JRS does ever sign. Exciting times in SE7 🤞
