No Cawley piece on it unusual for him, reckon he’s trying to tie it in with some other news?
Or the club felt to release some positive news without consulting any external parties.

Edit: Article up at 8pm about "Thomas Kaminski poised to seal a move to Cypriot side Omonia Nicosia".
    Loan or permanent ?

If JRS really wants to play for Charlton he can still make it happen …don’t be surprised if this don’t still happen question. Is would we wait ??
Not if he failed the medical

We also need to find at least one new center , back so we needed to have space in the first team squad and of course the budget for wages and possibly a transfer fee.

Not if the club don't want him because of a medical issue, which is what's happened
Fair enough, but it seems mental if that’s the case considering how many injury prone players we have/have had over the years. Including ones we’ve signed knowing full well they might break down (Bell, Burke). How bad can this mystery medical issue be when he’s seemingly rarely been injured thus far in his career?

Maybe I’m deluded and just in denial but still think JRS happens if he’s not moved by the end of the weekend.

His agent might be holding off for something better but surely he’d rather JRS move to us than not move at all.
    I think you are right.

Burnley may have offered more of a fee and Palace would certainly want to take that but I am sure JRS would rather come to us.

If he is not sold by the weekend, I think we still have a chance.

Hopefully, he is stalling and hoping that on Tuesday we come in with the same offer to Palace which they will have to accept rather than lose out on the fee at the end of the season.

But can he play centre back?

Are Barnsley fans saying anything on their forums?
Last I heard they were saying he was on his way up there yesterday.🫤
Which player are you talking about?
Guessing they mean JRS to Burnley
    That makes sense

I guess the big issue here though is that we didn't invest 4 or 5 million on those with a view to doubling our return on that investment.

Sounds like Ronnie Moore (and he has signed up as a new member). one to be ignored.

In theory JRS could just refuse to move anywhere and wait for a payday next summer.

    RC saying no to that.

I mean obviously things can change, but to me that pretty much kills any hope of a JRS deal. Well, that and what Stjohnshill said. Onto the next, and best of luck to JRS except when he plays us.

A Greek sports site reporting Ludogorets have come in for Kaminski. Hopefully demand helps lower how much of a hit we’ll take.

Didn’t they sign him permanently this summer after having him on loan? Was in our academy until we played Chelsea in the FA Youth Cup, they poached him soon after.

What if it's a heart condition?

I do think he’s a decent player but the behaviour that his Dad and himself have shown has made me glad that we didn’t go for him. Hopefully we don’t give him a positive start there.
