A few years time? most sensible thing you've said on here - you were convinced you were light years ahead of us about a year ago - football cycles don't take light years or even decades to turn round - normally takes good owners and most critically, a good manager. Of course we won't be pushing at the top end this year but the graph is looking pretty good and the increase in our squad strength and quality since this time last year is significant.
Stop lying and putting words in my mouth you absolute clown.

Now now Mr Spanner, you are a guest on here and you need to respect that fact.
They’re also entitled to call out people for making stuff up about what they previously posted.
Quite, I was joking with her, she's alright.

Looking like the Azeez deal is happening for around £15m.

If ACD is included as part of that you can’t complain @MillwallFan.

Probably aim to get a keeper in as well I guess.

That’s the transfer approach we will need to replicate

Yeah 15 mill and ready made replacement in ACD on loan will be a great bit of business. Even with Reading taking their cut it’s a massive profit for us.

Definitely need a keeper now Jenson is injured again. I presume that will be a loan as well though. Ipswich are making Palmer available for a loan/transer. That wouldn’t be a bad shout.

Crama getting injured when he did may have been a blessing in disguise. Would hate to lose him and Azeez in the same window. Would make our right side much weaker.

Fleming off to Ipswich for a lump apparently, so we’ll get a cut of that, which should offset anything we have to give Reading out of the Azeez deal.

Palmer would be a very sensible bit of business MF. Shame Jensen can't stay fit because he looks an excellent keeper when available.

Millwall have more u23 players then us to not include in a 25 man squad.

I’m gutted for the lad. He was out injured for well over a year. Got himself fit, started this season so well. Didn’t let a goal in the three games he started. Saved those 4 pens at QPR. The fans were chanting his name. You could see he was buzzing to be back between the sticks. Then he does his quad in training. The club have said he’ll be out for a ‘considerable period’. If its a tear it’ll probably be a couple of months minimum. If he’s ruptured it then I can’t see him coming back from that. Real shame.

For me Azeez is their best player so will be hard to replace.

Didn’t have a great second half of last season. It was like the rumours during the January transfer window unsettled him. We did ok without him v Bristol and Norwich this season so far (let’s not mention the Southampton game lol). Definitely need a right winger to replace him though. Hopefully we can get someone through the door before it slams shut. Was hoping for ACD on loan but he’s gone to Boro.

Is it looking likely you'll get Esse back or more likely it'll be Ronald from Swansea?

Really don’t want Ronald. Not sure about Esse. Not sure he’ll be the same player who excelled for us. There’s talk of us trying to get Cleary from Barnsley which I’d be more than happy with but so are a few other championship clubs

You could do worse than Aaron Ramsdale who is relegated to training with the kids at Southampton

8 goals conceded in 2 games.  Lovely stuff.
  • You'd think they'll be alright with talent like Azeez in the side though
  • 3-0 at home to the hollywoods is a tough one I feel for them

Absolutely decimated squad as it was but then Arconte and Lisbie missing from the team tonight which means they’ve picked up injuries or illnesses during the week, and then De Norre and Coburn go off injured during the game. De Norres looked fairly serious. We are down to the absolute bare bones and these injuries are starting to get on my tits tbh. We’re going to be very shit for the next couple of months until we get a few back and can play a settled side for once. We had youngsters on the bench who I’d never even heard of.

We’ll be ok and I’ll expect another strong second half of the season like we usually pull out the bag. Doesn’t make the situation any less frustrating. Nothing I’ve seen in this league so far this season suggests to me that it’s that much stronger than last year as we all predicted. Load of shit. Pissed off. Going to bed.

Dykes started and played the whole game didn't he? So it's not all bad news.

Ok I can’t sleep I’m so pissed off. We finished the game with 10 players because Zak Lovelace went off injured at the end and we’d used all our subs. By the end of the game we had three ‘starters’ left on the pitch. None of the rest of that team would be near the starting 11 if we weren’t so decimated.

Oh and you can take the piss, that’s fine, I give it out, so can take it back. One thing I will say though, you must be gutted you’re not playing us until December this season 🤣

right, off to get another beer. Sick as a parrot. 🦜

Au contraire, Rodders. It gives us over three months to come up with the excuses - injuries, weather conditions, length of the grass, referee (perm any 3 from 4 and all four).

Urgh heads rough today. I had this really bad dream that we lost to a bang average Wrexham side because we barely had any senior first team players left. Oh, hang on a minute…. 😩

Trains were up the swanny last night and road works a nightmare (the Wrexham supporters coaches didn’t turn up until after their first goal!). Can’t blame people for leaving early. I did and it was one of the only times I have in over 40 plus years.

I wouldn’t worry. I’ve never heard of any of your players barring Dykes.

If you played us now you would beat us hands down. It’s not just first teamers who are out, it’s impact subs as well. We had absolutely nothing last night. No wide men, no one to bring off the bench to make a difference. He had to bring Mazou-Saka and Neghli on but both of them are carrying knocks.
Sorry, I know I sound like a broken record with these injuries but I’ve never known anything like it in all the years I’ve been going. It was bad last year at times but no where near as bad as it is now.
We need to know what the f*** is going on in training to find out why we get so many. Can’t be a coincidence. We’re getting something badly wrong behind the scenes. I’ll be there Saturday as always but I’m not excepting much. Newcastle will absolutely wipe the floor with us next week in the cup and I’m dreading west ham in a few weeks. I think we’d be more than a match for them with most of our first team fit but not with out 2nd and 3rd string. Games coming thick and fast now as well. From Saturday we’ll have 5 games in a 14 day period. Culminating with that lot from over the water. ☹️

  • Last count we have 8 injured including a full back 5, but we seem to be joint top.  All about squad depth I guess and the small clubs in this division just struggle to get that.
