I liked the look of him on the YouTube clip posted earlier, but he himself says he is a left winger who likes to cut inside. In the YouTube video he is shown playing on the right and it does look like he is predominantly right footed. Will he be the answer to our right wing woes ? Probabky not as a starter, which is a shame because neither TC nor Grant work playing on the right.

It’s also basically the only way non-parachute championship teams can work their way up the league to get promoted. Look at Coventry, look at Brentford, look at Middlesbrough who are nearly there. We've all been crying out for a RW, even NJ says so. If after 3 months of the transfer window the best we can do is a "hopeful" from League 1 then I don't think Chapple has been doing his job properly.
As I said last night, I hoped we hadn't put all our dry powder in JRS's basket. Seemed like we had.

What use do we have for a player who's 35, clearly now a permanent injury risk, and not the profile of number 9 we now operate with? Genuinely would rather have Apter in the squad. Would rather have DochertyDDOUBLEE said:

Or alternatively whatever the medical/agent situation was meant that JRS was no longer good enough value for whatever the money was. Instead of spending a similar, large amount on a lesser version (Ogbene for instance) we changed our tack and went for someone cheaper we could develop into a JRS type player - speculate to accumulate.golfaddick said:

I've got absolutely no problem with having Godden around for 20-25 mins off the bench when we need a goal. Still the player I'd want a chance to drop around the 6 yard box for out of anyone in our squad.5
