Are we 1 or 2 over the limit? Probably can just terminate docs contract. Shame but it is what it is0

Think you’d have to terminate it before 11pm tonight, we shall see.Chawlton said:Are we 1 or 2 over the limit? Probably can just terminate docs contract. Shame but it is what it is1 -
In true Eastenders’ fashion, they’ll be packed off to Scotland never to be seen nor heard of again. I’m the one Charlton exception to this rule (apart from the many other members of Charlton Fans in Scotland)DamoNorthStand said:Have to presume Doc and Apter not gonna be registered in order to hit 250 -
Unless of course it turns out someone else is injured and wont be registered2
-
The window hasn’t closed in Scotland and many other countries. It’s still possible someone like Doc goes north of the border in the next 48 hours.6

Any idea who put a bid in for Mbick?0
-
Awesome window I think.
We obviously had to readjust our focus after the goalie fucked off and Holsgrove and JRS deals fell away.
But all the deals look like a progressive step to me. The proof of the pudding is in the eating and all that but I for one have fully bought in to the upward trajectory of "the project".
Might not be at the pace we want and there will doubtless be setbacks but our club is fucking going places18 -
Best transfer window in 2 decades -
Not only are we staying up we are going places - big time.13 -
For me it's been a fantastic window. Added some real quality and got our beat 3 players signed up to new contracts (plus a bonus unknown yr for Kanu). Turned down a sizeable bid for M'Bick.
Can't really ask for more, obviously like most I'm gutted about JRS and would have loved to have seen him sign but that's not to be and actually a sign of a well run club that we drew a line and didn't go back.
I would like to think we still have a fair stack of powder being kept dry until January for us to potentially add again if the right deal comes up.
Looking forward to the rest of the season.
I suspect Doc has either had his contract terminated earlier or will be off to Scotland, can't see him as the sort to sit on his arse for 4 months. Likeable fella and always gave everything so sad to see him go. Apter hopefully Bob's off with him somewhere too. Don't need him, never rated him.7 -
Nathan Jones, Phil Chapple, Jim Rodwell and the Charlton owners and board - please take a bow - 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 - you all did us proud this summer.51

I haven't stayed up all this time just for confirmation of one more signing, honest.

That Skipp has had a tough paper round7
-
Makes a change for us not to be hearing about all the players that we were in for, but just missed out on.1

Not just that. The almost seamless adjusting to losing 2 CBs within minutes in the same game...Six-a-bag-of-nuts said:Awesome window I think.

Hey? Maybe JR, PC, and NJ do know what they're doing? And do have lists of potential targets? And lists of emergency targets?
Who knew?

Honestly can't say I know a thing about skipp but if he's the player that was worth that much and not the one Leicester fans are shiteing over then it's a proper tidy signing.
Gotta be an 8/10 window on paper.
Imagine Doc will be out, not sure on Apter as Jones may think we need him for cover on the right but he does seem the most obvious other to depart.

So 2 players to go out, Docherty and ? I’d rather lose Costello or Knibbs than lose Apter now we’ve got so many midfielders2

Scotland is not ready for Apter6

I think Doc will go to Scotland and Collins & Edward’s will not be registered.
The latter will rebuild his fitness with the U21s until Jan.3 -
Knibbs, JRC has value in this squadNabySarr said:So 2 players to go out, Docherty and ? I’d rather lose Costello or Knibbs than lose Apter now we’ve got so many midfielders9 -
Now Laqeretabua is back, is Burke one we might not register? This is a fun game. Pick a Charlton player to banish to the shadow realm. Who's it going to be??10
-
Or has Laqeretabua been recalled so we can send him to the NL proper, the big time1

I really don’t see how one can judge a transfer window in anything other than hindsight.mascot88 said:Best transfer window in 2 decades -
Not only are we staying up we are going places - big time.Obviously I hope this is the best window for 20 years (gonna take something special to exceed that Chris Powell window) but it’s impossible to say so now.16 -
What am I supposed to do with my life now this is over?19

Wait for Callum to start the January threadcantersaddick said:What am I supposed to do with my life now this is over?21 -
Should be a couple of my posts that you've not "Liked"? - You've been slacking Canters!!cantersaddick said:What am I supposed to do with my life now this is over?4 -
Not sure it’s as good as the JBC Buyens window either , especially as Koumetio, Sichenje (ok a January signing ) and Chalobah are already injured .se9addick said:
