Why do I open my mouth...1

The dismissals of Muyeye, Northeast and Benjamin today sum up our batting this season. On so many occasions our batters have got themselves in only to then play a shot that makes one think "where did that come from?". Until they learn to put a value on their wicket it will always be the same with our line up.0

It's okay, DBD has hit the luckiest fifty of all time ever1
-
50* (90) for DBD
203-5 (52.1)1 -
Not that you're bitter!Leuth said:It's okay, DBD has hit the luckiest fifty of all time ever1 -
210-5 (53) at tea. This stand will go a long way to establishing whether or not we have a competitive score.

DBD LBW 52 (93)
213-6 (54)1 -
Yet another poor shot - Stewart goes fishing and is caught behind for 19 (26)
220-7 (55.5)1 -
Milnes becomes another victim of chasing a wide one and is caught behind for 7 (23)
233-8 (62.3)1 -
Can we get a batting point?0

Dudgeon becomes Allison's fifth victim and keeper Cullen's fifth catch for 8 (22)
237-9 (63.2)1 -
238 all out from 213-5. Quinn the last to go. A case by a lack of application by four or five of our batters.1
-
Mahumud leaves just one of Libby's stumps standing
26-1 (5.5)3 -
And Mahmud has Edavalath LBW next ball5

Off for bad light
80-2 (20.5)1 -
I liked the bit where I got to purr about Dan Lategan under actual sunlight for an hour at the end2

2028 . Educated at Brighton College but both Sussex (and Surrey) wouldn't offer him a full-time place in their Academy which Worcestershire were prepared to do.MarcusH26 said:

Lategan bizarrely, after batting so well, shoulders arms to one from Milnes
125-34 -
Stewart, who hasn't bowled all innings, takes a wicket with his first ball - that of D'Oliveira, caught at slip by Muyeye
139-45 -
Dudgeon has Hose caught behind. Three wickets taken for just 20 runs
145-53 -
Thanks for all the updates all. This is one of my favourite threads on here and how I keep up with Kent scores, living in Hove

Cullen LBW Dudgeon
152-63 -
So, Worcestershire are 86 behind and with two new batters at the crease1

Plus he has to get arrested in a regional nightclub, to show that he's fully assimilated.Leuth said:5 -
Wickets seem to tumble in clusters.0

2 bowling points for us so far. We failed to gain any batting points.1

As I consoled all around me at the end yesterday, 'don't worry, you've not seen our middle order yet'4
