Ivan stood over one of their diving forwards and snarled. Brilliant.15

Maybe there's a bonus in his new deal if he scores 10 we sign JRSSteveACS said:I've come to the conclusion last season TC was kidnapped, and we played his evil twin...5 -
JRC and Ouma changed the game together when they came on. A tough night for Mwamba who didn’t put a foot wrong but was unable to influence the play against two classy operators in Diakite and Molumby.
Was also impressed by Mesik again. Thought Bell struggled, especially second half, and would like to see Mesik given that starting LB berth at the weekend.15 -
Dreadful??superclive98 said:An away point after a pretty dreadful performance is fine by me.
Need better on Saturday.16 -
Gotta be happy with that. Worked very hard and showed we have a decent bench for when we change tactics. Music was excellent and JRC did well too.
Saturday will be equally tough, and Nathan doesn't have a good record when going back to former clubs.0 -
Up the farking addicks4
-
Lots of unnecessary giving the ball away and no protection for our attacking players again. On the plus side some good skills shown by Ouma, Binden, Rankin-Costello interspersed with some comedy errors from each of them.5
-
The triple sub changed the game. JRC was quality and TC having help on the flank made such a difference. Ouma has potential to be a proper cult hero. I loved that6

Good point, but tough watch. Thought our keeper did well but also thought DM had a poor game. Overall happy that we ground out the point.2
-
At last, a proper keeper that can keep us in the game.I like him.27

Didn’t really deserve the point but to be honest Albion weren’t much better than us . Just more positive.Thought Coventry was superb .I’d have taken a 1-1 before the game.On to Stoke we go.6

Would have bitten your hand off for a point before kick off. Having to bed in a lot of new players and adapt to a new system. Ten points and 20% of the total needed for survival. What’s not to like.9

Great point after a fairly iffy performance. Take it all day long.0
-
JRC made a massive difference and that is why we need him in our squad.
TC ? Brilliant9 -
A good point on the road. NJ got the subs right again and JRC and Mesik combined well more than once. Bindon steady considering he’d only just arrived.3rd after 4 matches, what’s not too like!6

Great away point, well done Charlton4
-
Credit to NJ. Substitutions and switch in formation turned the game around4
-
JRC has been going to the Danny McNamara school of shithousery this year it seems.Love it.11
-
Subs made a difference if maybe a few minutes too late.
But you can’t keep this side down now and TC strikes again.
Hope the baggies fan with the pencil injuries doesn’t sue my Bruv.
UTFA 🗡️4 -
Decent away point against a good side.
AO has proved me wrong tonight. I thought he was a decent signing but not quite there as a long term option. I'm so wrong. Would love him on a permanent.
JRC also proving me wrong tonight.
I've never been so happy to be so wrong - don't tell my wife!9 -

Might have got away with all three points with some earlier subs. Nathan Jones got those spot on. A well-earned point despite not being at our best for the first hour.Bit of a conundrum who to play when Chalobah isn’t fit. Between JRC and Ouma right now I think. Both contributed to that point tonight.Mesik was quality too - really wasn’t sure about Bindon but it’s his first week with the club to be fair to him.Leaburn, Coventry and Okonkwo played well and TC popping up with a proper finish.6

If we have 50 points after 20 games I'll be happy 😃ShootersHillGuru said:Would have bitten your hand off for a point before kick off. Having to bed in a lot of new players and adapt to a new system. Ten points and 20% of the total needed for survival. What’s not to like.4 -
Enjoyed that more than I probably should have, great organisation and proper bottle.TC’s engine is something else, nonstop hassling and chasing.8
-
Very good point, fairly uninspiring performance.Like Preston, we are playing a team I think will prove to be a bottom third team and against a better team I think the game would have been taken away from us before Campbell’s goal. But I’ll never turn down points on the road.
couple of off colour performances, but great resilience.2 -
Will take that!
Seen enough Jonesball to be ready for chances to nick it 80mins+ but
- Bindon header to their guy when we were pressuring them
-Okonkwo kick out from goal kick
- Mbick not quite releasing TC when picking the ball up deep on a track back
- TC not quite picking out Carey bursting forwards
All contributed to us not finding an against the odds winner
Says something that not winning is my focus!
Well done lads. Resolute! Got an away point despite a few 6/10 displays….7 -
Fantastic return from the first 4 games.
gritty performance, defended well and we always look a threat on the break with our pace.
would’ve taken a draw all day long
The Millwall result makes the night even better4 -
Anyone got a photo of that?Addicksi said:Ivan stood over one of their diving forwards and snarled. Brilliant.1 -
Tough first half but battled hard. Did so much running without the ball we were visibly struggling to keep up by about 50 mins. On the back of this being our 4th game in 2 weeks and with a depleted squad you could see the fatigue. Needed fresh legs in the press and in midfield.
Subs lined up to come on before the goal and changed the game when they did come on. If they had come in earlier or we had defended that set piece better I reckon we win it.
Happy with a draw tho. COYR6 -
Got away with it and had we not got that equaliser, I would’ve called it a poor performance. We did get it and took the goal well, and credit to NJ for the subs, JRC very effective when on.These early points are vital and target 55 for me means 45 points needed from 42 games. Hopefully we can get some rest in ahead of Stoke which is not kind to us in the scheduling.Took our goal well. WBA were completely caught off guard given how little we’d offered, being clinical is important when you see that little of the ball. It’s early days with a lot of new faces, but 10 points is a great return. A couple more wins before the intl break and I’ll be very happy. A big month coming up.Stoke, QPR, Pompey and Cardiff. I’m targeting 6 more points minimum3

Mesik over Bell at lb for me now20
