They’re off for bad light at 84-3 which could well prove to be the close as it’s dark and cloudy.

Good luck today to the two West Kent MCC hubs in their National Finals at Lord's - namely the Boys U15 and Girls U17 in their games against hubs from Bradford and York respectively.

    119-4. Hose lbw b Mahmud 38
  • Northants 23-3.

Worcs still 4 wickets down.. Its going to be anyones guess if we can get a win.. Our bowlers often make hard work of it. Dudgeon very expensive again. If Northants get points advantagd or more rhen eight points, thats us done on promotion imo.

I can save you the wait. Most likely to be Carse, Stokes, and one or two others, if any. Why such players csnt grow up and act maturely, idont know.

We dont need any favours to go towards Northsnts, though. We may well lose out v Worcs, way innincs is going. We struggle to finish off teams. So frustrating.

    Worcs 199-4 at lunch.
  • What have I said about breaks disrupting the concentration?

Northeast bowled straight after lunch for 132 (241)
Hoping the same will happen to Worcestershire and we get a wicket or two straight after lunch

If we don't could be a nervy last session.
Reckon we're around 45% Kent win draw 30% Worcester 25%
  • Northamptonshire 50/10

Actually I think I'm being way to positive there with the percentages..

239-5. We’re going to lose this the way it’s going

I think thats very likely. We are offering nothing in the bowling.

Ok, they are batting well, but this bowling is a shambles. We offer very little fear. I think if we lose this, its our season finished as it will have a massive effect on confidence. Shouldnt get 380 to win often.

5 seamers is fine with a new ball, and helpful conditions,  but surely Parky would have come into his own now.

His brother bowled Durham to victory today.

Especially without a Joe Denly or a Leaning, who were both better than part-time.
  • Waite goes.. bowled by Dudgeon

    265/6

New ball coming in 5 overs.. no doubt we'll be taking it straight away
  • D’Oliveira with his century

The run chase is in double figures now.. 97 runs for them to get
  • Taylor lbw dudgeon again

Worcestershire just before tea.. 283/7 chasing 97 runs
