Thought he looked ok today really…… played some nice passes around and got stuck in.
More than happy to start him and Cov for QPR10 -
Wasn’t great but he was the best of the 3 midfielders today1
-
He broke up play decently a few times in the first half. Poor lad must be wondering if he’s a bad luck charmDamoNorthStand said:Thought he looked ok today really…… played some nice passes around and got stuck in.

Unfair to judge him based on what happened today5

Thought he played OK tbh. Can't remember him doing anything wrong.1

He didn't do anything wrong but he's also not the kind of player who is going to win games single-handed through vision/skill or pure passion and effort - thats not a criticism as I think the whole set up today was less than ideal and he probably does have place in a better system or on a better day in general.O-Randy-Hunt said:Thought he played OK tbh. Thought he was just ok today and will start with Coventry on Wednesday. NJ will have learnt his lesson and I can even see Carey coming back in the 10 role with Grant and TC wide.5

Is there a buy option for Skipp like Ouma or are we just taking a bit of his wages off of Leicester as they prep for double relegation under Nathan Jones wannabe Russel Martin?0
-
I assume Leicester would let him go for free. Figuring out the wages would be the issue if he’s really getting paid what he’s rumoured to be on.YardAddickt said:Is there a buy option for Skipp like Ouma or are we just taking a bit of his wages off of Leicester as they prep for double relegation under Nathan Jones wannabe Russel Martin?0 -
They wanted £15m for him earlier in the summer so I doubt they'd sell him for nothing next summerse9addick said:

Whether they get anything or not will depend on how he performs this season tbh. And even if he has a good season this year none of the parachute teams won't get near his alledged salary, both he and Leicester would need to take a severe hair cut regardless.fenaddick said:

I couldn't think of a more opposite guy to Nathan Jones than Russell Martin in basically every metric from personality to managerial philosophyYardAddickt said:Is there a buy option for Skipp like Ouma or are we just taking a bit of his wages off of Leicester as they prep for double relegation under Nathan Jones wannabe Russel Martin?

Can't see him as Leicester manager for much longer.0

Anyone still got James Bree's number?Off_it said:

Can definitely see him and Cov starting against QPR. Leicester have been a mess for a few years. I think it’s a good addition. Chalobah is the most talented of the 4 that are competing for that position, but I feel that if he could just get a bit of momentum behind him, he could prove to be a solid loan.

They'll be lucky to get 1.5m for him. He's under contract at Leicester until 2029 and every club in the country knows they can't afford to keep him.fenaddick said:

If he is really on £50k per week then that is £5M for his last 2 years after his loan ends here.
If he plays very well this season I suspect he might be able to get himself a Championship contract on say £20K a week.
Any buying club probably buys him for £3M paid to Leicester and Leicester use that to pay him up the difference in the contracts.
If he is rubbish with us then poor Leicester are stuck with him.0 -
Good pre game interview, seems like another nice fella in the group.4

Seems like a great lad and pro.
I’ve got high hopes for him.Go on the Skippy!2 -
Really good piece in Cawley’s Substack about Skipp1
-
Motm today for me, brilliant performance. Anyone still have a problem with his attitude?4
-
Settling quickly and more to come I reckon.0
-
It won’t make the highlights but his tackle in the second half was outstanding. Saved us from conceding a goal. Perfect tackle to stop a clean shot on target from Portsmouth.10

Was great today and much more mobile than I thought. Strikes me as a player who is more noticeable in person than on the stream0
-
Yeah thought he was decent today.0
