ONONKWO: 6 not at fault for any of the goals

BELL: 5 part of a defence that conceded 4

    BINDON: 5 as above

    JONES: 5 as above

MESIK: 6 as above but a threat going forward and tried to create things

SKIPP: 5 not a great debut but it’s probably the first time he’s kicked a ball with this group

OUMA: 3.5 pen wasn’t a pen and the second came from a handball in the build up. However he gave the pen away and was at fault for the second. Passing not great. I still think he will improve

CAMPBELL: 6 dangerous first 15 mins

    J.R-C: 6 not awful. Not a ten

GRANT: 6 out of the game

LEABURN: 7 battled hard. No protection from the ref.

McNAMARA: 5 should never have been in a position to get a yellow in the first place as we should have had a corner… but don’t give this fraud of a ref the chance to show you a second yellow

COVENTRY: 6 looked better when he came on

ALLI: 6 game lost by the time he came on

    MBICK: 6 as above

    APTER: 6 as above

Referee: 0.5 only because I can’t give a zero. Disgraceful. Needs his Bet365 account checking.

    MESIK: 6.5 Like him

SKIPP: 6 hard to judge when next to Ouma but looked steady on the ball

OUMA: 2 not prepared to write him off just yet but awful today

    CAMPBELL: 5

    J.R-C: 4 shit stamina

    GRANT: 5 frustrating

LEABURN:6 isolated but not his fault

    McNAMARA: 5 weird sending off

COVENTRY: 6 should've started, showed the gaps Ouma left

    ALLI: 5

Poor all round, let’s write it off as a bad day at the office. I have watched Mbick through most of the age groups and I don’t know what all the fuss is about. I have watched the youth teams for a very long time. I have seen Parker, Shelvey, Bowyer, Gomez, Lookman, Konsa and loads more. You could see their star quality straight away. I have seen nothing like that with Mbick. He has the physical attributes but I am not convinced. Yes he is young, yes he did well on loan. I know I will get pelters for this but if we get another bid of 5million rising to 7 I think we should take it.

ONONKWO: 6 - nothing he could do about the goals, although he looked hesitant to come for crosses

BELL: 5 - looked a bit weary. Unfortunately, McNamara’s sending off means he’ll have to play the next 2 games, which puts him at risk of injury

BINDON: 5 - generally ok but very poor defending for Stoke’s third goal

JONES: 6 - ok. Survived a blatant assault from the Stoke centre-forward which the referee saw fit not to punish

MESIK: 6 - did ok, although might have done better in preventing the cross for the third goal

SKIPP: 5 - a few decent interceptions and passes but largely anonymous. In mitigation, he’s only just arrived at the club and was thrown into a chaotic midfield

OUMA: 3 - he needs more time to get up to speed. Naive for the penalty and really poor for the second goal. Unable to cope with the intensity and quality of Galbraith and Soumare

CAMPBELL: 6 - a couple of promising early runs but withdrawn early as a precaution

J.R-C: 5 - unable to influence the game

GRANT: 5 - no real impact

LEABURN: 6.5 - isolated throughout but battled gamely with zero protection from the ref (much like the officials in all the previous games)

McNAMARA: 4 - very silly to get involved after the foul on Leaburn, not least because the referee had already shown his willingness to brandish cards to our players

COVENTRY: 6 - brought some order to the chaos, although Stoke throttled back in the second half (save for occasionally putting the boot or elbow into our players)

ALLI: 6 - quite a strong player and did his best in what was a hopeless situation

MBICK: 6 - would have liked to seen him on a bit earlier, given the licence the ref had given Stoke’s defenders to kick Leaburn

    APTER: 4 - he looks like a boy in a men’s game

Referee: 2 - a hugely irritating blend of arrogance , megalomania and sheer ineptitude. I have not the slightest doubt that he got into his car after the game, entirely satisfied that he had an excellent game.
