I feel he's a deal we should have done early in the window so he'd get a full pre season with us, including the friendlies, to settle in. Clearly he was second (or lower) choice so it is what it is. As others have said, I don't think Jones has done him any favours starting him in heavily rotated midfields. Let's give him a chance....only 22 with all of the physical attributes needed so he could come good, we just haven't seen enough yet.5

Some fans have had a go at TC since he first made an appearance in the first team, in particular I remember the abuse he got in the FA cup game at Gillingham in December 2023, when taking a corner at the away end people rushed down to abuse him.Bedsaddick said:

Surely no one can argue that he played poorly and heavily contributed to us being 2 down? It will obviously bring negative comments. Though I think Jones needs to shoulder some blame for throwing him and Skipp together so soon.

Will he improve? Maybe. But yesterday was a horror show and he should have been taken off long before HT as damage limitation to him as much as the team.12 -

He clearly needs some time out of the spotlight now (worried what the reaction might be if he’s in a starting XI before the international break) but I’m still quite sure there is a player in there and expect he’ll have a part to play this season.2

I don't remember him standing out as someone who changed the game on Wednesday. JRC for me was the one who changed the game, Ouma just happened to be subbed on at the same time. I don't think he did anything to warrant being called a 'good player', but maybe that's just my opinion.thenewbie said:
