When you are only in the UK for five days and redeem a fifty quid Moopig voucher with a 60 day usage limit intending to use it at Ask Italian in Beckenham to eat after the Portsmouth game. Then when you go to book, it won't take any bookings after the 10th. So you query it with head office and they tell you it's closing down on the 9th...

    How's yer luck? 🤬

bit better than the poor buggers working there I suppose!
Yes - me and the missus said the same.

    Ask for a refund.
I have written back to the head office, let's see what happens. I don't hold out much hope of getting anything out of moonpig.

O2 booked up, and I'd rather lose the £50 than venture into bandit country... 😉

    Send to a friend?
  • I know this is a bit political, I'm not going to mention one party who drink some diabolical drink called a "black velvet" but about the the Tory leader kemi Badenoch saying about Andy Burnhams stamina in a absolutely sickening flirty way. It made me cringe so much hearing that I nearly threw up as if I just downed a black velvet. No need for that kinda stuff.

Drug addicts & pissheads in every fucking high street in the UK and probably the world but particularly in the UK

They all sound the same, they act the same, they are nothing but a menace. I have sympathy for anyone suffering from addiction but that isn't endless. I fucking hate junkies and the anti-social attention-seeking behaviour they bring with them. We have to pander to all the shit in society now and I just want to kick every single one of their heads in.

People who say they wear their heart on their sleeve. Always ignorant, thick, selfish morons with zero emotional intelligence

And maybe worst of all. People who set their padel level low, you match with them and they are like Novak Djokovic. Or the ones who set their level too high and its like being paired up with Steven Hawking in his last hours

When people spend more than half an hour telling you every detail of the holiday they've just come back from.

Is it just my family who do this?

"Oh, and the service! Oh my god, the service... They can't do enough for you. You can be sat by the pool, ring a little bell, or wave your hand, over they come..."
Be grateful you haven’t had to sit through 4 hours of slides/photos/videos. Take your pick as it was all of them! There wasn’t enough shit wine to help me through that bollix let me tell you!
Had dinner at friends once who, at 11pm, decided to show us their South America trip video. About 5 mins in I remarked that they must have filmed a lot to get to these highlights. He replied ‘yes, we took 6 hours of film and we got it down to 2.5 hours…….!!!!’ After another 30 mins he got quite irritated that I was falling asleep and the evening ended at that point.

Our hosts that night were Palace fans.

My brother used to sit us down to watch the colour slides he took on various holidays.

He'd dim the lights and put on some spanish guitar to play softly in the backround.  I actually bought him a torch that could project an arrow onto the slides.  I told him that it would help with his commentary and there'd be no need to count down three from the top and six along for us to see his hotel window.  He graciously accepted the gift without realizing I was taking the piss.

Our Moonpig problem is solved! It's actually a company called Buyagift who Moonpig use. After a bit of a problem trying to explain the exact nature of our dilemma, once they had grasped it, they have reset our original voucher so we can exchange it for another restaurant and have nearly a year to redeem it.

Especially when one doesn't even live in the country and the other has a conviction in the USA, for failing to make sure his company put in appropriate safeguards against money laundering, and was subsequently pardoned by the most corrupt President ever. Sleaze follows Farage like a bad smell.

    Union payments to Labour Party.

    Business payments to Tories

would prefer political parties be centrally funded based on votes in previous elections.

The funding of political parties does need reforming( no pun intended), however there is a big difference between thousands of people paying a small political levy, as is the case with Union donations, and two crypto billionaires making huge 'donations', that dwarf any donations ever made in the UK.

Not at all envious of the sleaze that follows a certain party and extremely worried about their true motives. I value the NHS that is looking after my husband in his cancer journey and don't want our public services, which have been starved of funds for so long, to collapse.

Two crypto billionaires have bought that party, they are in it for their own benefit. Why would a foreign domiciled (Thailand) crypto billionaire want to fund a political party in the UK, other than to deregulate the industry that has made him so wealthy. He has paid no UK tax or contributed to the UK. The other crypto billionaire was domiciled abroad until April of this year and also paid tax abroad.

Reform pose a huge danger to ordinary people in the UK and donations of this magnitude make the danger even greater. I am extremely worried to see the far right become mainstream.
