the drone thing was superb, will have another go at getting tickets - not sure I fancy Knebworth, but I reckon the Etihad would be awesome

i cant see the amount of dates rumoured to be taking place i cant see.

went dublin and wembley last year so will try for tickets again.

  • Went Toronto last time and will try for North America again.... dickhead count was much lower at the gig, and you get a holiday to boot.

Personally think anyone who didnt get a ticket last time should get a priority code but wouldnt ever happen.

So who has registered? The way they have done it is much better.... no general sale at all.

Everyone has to register who wants one, then. you either get a code or dont and thats it. Will be really effective and blocking out the bots and casuals just dipping in during the moment.

Will also mean people who never got one last year have got just as much chance as anyone else which is fair.

Then they can always open general sale if it comes to it (I mean that is a LOT of dates.... with more to come as well I am sure).

So what have people gone for?

Boston MA, Las Vegas and Paris for me (fancy wrapping it up in a holiday).

Missus gone for the same and mixed up Rome for Paris.

Eldest gone for the UK venues so see where we end up.

I've gone for UK only, I've got 2 personal and 1 work email accounts so registered on all 3, not sure how that will work with my Ticketmaster account so might have to create 2 more to link to the other email accounts, saw them last year, plus Glasto and Maine Road back in the day so I'm fine if I miss out this time round although I'd obviously go again if I can.
  • Amsterdam Munich Slane Castle and Vegas will be my preferred options definitely Vegas and Slane

Vegas would be epic - may as well ring my mortgage provider to enquire re-mortgaging cos that will be one hell of a big weekend. Jesus.

Anyone got a link for where you register?
  • There are a lot of dates, 11 nights just at the Etihad only, so i think anyone who wants to go this time round will surely find a ticket somewhere.

Touts can just set up 1000s of emails, hopefully there's a way of blocking people who entered more than once or its no better a system than last time.

Yes I missed out after queuing online for hours and yes im bitter 😆

Would not choose Knebworth.. that three hour queue for a beer in 96 put me off big events like that for life!

I have mentioned that queue a few times. Literally still have nightmares about it!

Noel has said he does not want to play the same venues as ‘25, so unlikely.  Knebworth will be it
  • Also the sound at Knebworth is absolutely dogshit. Last time out for Liam Gallagher you could just have a chat to the person next to you.

Toronto we were up the front and the bass and overall sound was booming through you. Wondering if that was a Canada thing (ie a stadium in the arse end of nowhere with no noise issues) or if all the other venues were like that.

    Yeah, that's why it's my 3rd choice.

We went to the MetLife stadium New Jersey and the sound was fantastic. Not sure about the open air gigs but there is generally decent sound at festivals now although at IoW festival if there's anything more than a strong breeze you want to be near the front or at least not far from a speaker stack if you want the music to drown out your inevitably annoying neighbours chat
