  • When you produce a track where there is ONE overtake (?) in F3... You've fucking failed at your job
The twistiness of Jeddah... the overtaking opportunities of Monaco... and the attraction of Sochi

Feel for him, as he's been so consistent this season
Delighted for Alex Powell this race, has suffered with such bad luck the last year or two

What was Hamilton doing in practice there?!

Gets told to stop the car repeatedly and refuses to for 2/3s of the lap.

I imagine a fine and a grid drop is coming his way
  • What a f**king exciting end to the F3 season!!
Congratulations Ugo... You won the title on Friday, not deserved after your criminal move @ Monza a week ago

Why couldn't we have ended at Monza! If F3 can't race here I hate to think how much of an afternoon nap I'm in for later.

Criminal that they put this dog shit track after Monza in the Calendar.
F**king genius idea to put a brand new Street Track as the decider, which no one had a clue over how it would turn out
Dont think I've ever looked less forward to an F1 race before, its worse than Monaco, which at least has risk

Not expecting much of a race this afternoon but won't pass judgement just yet.
If it turns out to be a non-event like the junior formulaes then it means that we're stuck with another dud circuit on the calendar. Hopefully not, because there are already too many of them.

Apparently Slater is off to Invicta , not sure on Ugo - maybe Campos?

  • Ugo will be a decent Indycar driver but I don’t think he has the same F1 future as Slater. He is the tier down.

He’s a year ahead of Slater and let’s be honest fluked his way to the Championship

Yeah Ugo will ultimately end up in Indycar , Caddy won't pick him up to replace Herta when they've got Seb Wheldon coming through in FREC.

Slater should have a 2028 Audi seat sewn up , would quite like him to get the last few F2 rounds for this season with someone.
  • You can’t underestimate the impact of age at this stage of their career. That’s why Kenzo in F4 is the level up and the next Hamilton, Antonelli or Max.

15 years old ….. leading the European F4 championship which is nuts.  And is 5th in the Italian Champ due to racing with a broken wrist in round one but now into his stride and on track for a top 3 in that.

The championship leader is nearly 19 which is frankly embarrassing. Especially as he is now having his arse handed to him by Kenzo.

Kenzo will do FREC next year as he is so young, F3 and 17 and F2 at 18

I think what'll be truly interesting next year, is the new Car... those two will probably go to those teams
But nothing to say we wont get a repeat of Bearman struggling in the usually dominate Prema with the new regs though
  • Max has to give that back!
  • Sorry you cant go 4-laps into a race before giving a position back!!

Totally agree. Surely it has to be straight away or a penalty?
  • lol!... Max had zero argument over giving that place back... Penalise him!!!

Oh, that’s not ok. There was plenty of time to call the VSC before Norris went past the pits.

This season is being handed to Antonelli on a silver platter!!
Would love to know why Ferrari didnt pit Leclerc either, they're just doing Ferrari things!!

Fuck me. That’s just not right.
The bad pitstop is another matter, but the timings of the VSC there were just terrible.

Antonelli has driven brilliantly this year, but he does seem to have had an awful lot of luck with those little incidents.
  • Jesus... this track really is terrible... I can forgive Monaco, its old... its got history... But this!!

This is an absolute dirge. Only interesting thing will be if Leclerc finds the wall.
  • Yep. Diabolical circuit

Another Sunday afternoon snooze of a race. After  Verstappen obeyed instructions to give back the place he won in a 'soft' penalty, and Baby Stroll dis what he does, compromising Norris completely with VSC timing, that's been it, absolutely nothing, zilch nada.

    Yay, an overtake
  • Think I'm going to stick the FREC finale on instead and have the F1 just there in the background
