As much as you are correct, isn’t it a sad state of affairs when that’s what we’re saying a player should do?Addick Addict said:Foden missed a trick. After being kicked he should have rolled around for a few minutes. The minimum that Fernandes would have got is a yellow.3 -
Foden is a definite red but how that little fucking weasel Fernandes has escaped without a yellow is ridiculous.7
-
Absolutely hate Fernandez, absolute c*nt of a player and quite rightly he’s being called out by Roy on Sky.
But I love Haaland telling Foden to just get off, brilliant 😂😂5 -
At what point did we just become immune to the ridiculous play acting that goes on nowadays.
Foden is naive and given the referee a decision to make but Fernandes rolling about is absolutely pathetic. How any of the fans can applaud that is beyond me.4 -
Fucking half time interviews.
I wish the clubs would tell Sky and TNT reporters to fuck off. Half time is for the manager and team. It’s not for the public to see.8 -
Robbie Savage has just said exactly that...like you I'm listening to it on the radio.Karim_myBagheri said:Listening on the radio but is it the case where the ref could of easily said FFS lads what are you doing? And book them both for being idiots.1 -
What the hell was that interview with Carrick just then.
Someone please kill that idea.3 -
I generally take the view that if Robbie Savage has said it, it’s probably bollocks.HastingsRed said:

No, Foden’s kicked out and put his studs in Fernandes’ stomach. It’s a red all day longKarim_myBagheri said:Listening on the radio but is it the case where the ref could of easily said FFS lads what are you doing? And book them both for being idiots.
Please tell me of any professional player you know in 2026 that doesn't do what Fernandez does after getting a boot in the gut.
In the ideal football world Fernandez gets a red for kicking Foden when on the ground, so they both walk and we have 10 v 10.
Richards is a blue nose and Roy Keane never sees a problem with violence on the field !

Jesus wept. They then interviewed Michael Carrick while the game was going on.lordromford said:Fucking half time interviews.

Petulance yes, violent Foden definitely wasn’t.
Fernandez on the other hand???2 -
Haaland effort ruled out for offside.0
-
How can Haaland be ruled onside there?0
-
Baffled by that0
-
VAR overturns the decision.
Utd 0 City 1
No bloody idea what the offside law is now.0 -
Did the cross deflect off a United player?0
-
Is the LB playing him onside?0
-
Wtf0
-
Just what is all that about?0
-
Cross deflects off the Utd defender?0

Even if it's hit the defender's foot, he's still offside when the pass is played... That is baffling.1
-
If it's crossed into the box it shouldn't matter what deflections it takes.1
-
Not sure about that decision, but another reason why i don't want VAR anywhere near the Championship.2
-
It can only be that we’ve been deceived by the angle, right? Was the first defender’s foot just playing him on?2
-
Could do with the graphic showing now0
-
On the replays it looked like Enzo (middle) and Haaland (near side) were both offside when the ball left the City player's boot.
Even if the cross took a deflection of the United defender the pair were still offside on the original cross!1 -
I totally agree but Fernandes has got away with a massive one and deliberately kicked Foden to get the reaction he did. It's Beckham all over again.lordromford said:

You’d think experienced referees would know that if Bruno Fernandes is rolling around, nothing of real substance has happened.Notts_Addick said:At what point did we just become immune to the ridiculous play acting that goes on nowadays.

This is why after the game you need the refs to come out and explain themselves. From the outside it looks like a joke decision.0
-
I think Dorgu must have been playing Haaland onside, it’s the only explanation I can think ofBriston_Addick said:On the replays it looked like Enzo (middle) and Haaland (near side) were both offside when the ball left the City player's boot.
