Cozier-Duberry would have looked very good in a Charlton shirt. He's probably a bit too good for us. I was also hoping we'd take a look at Seb Berhalter. Son of the former USMNT coach. Had a decent cameo role at the World Cup. I forget how much he went for in the end but I get why we wouldn't have wanted to spend the 2-3m or whatever it was on him. Decent player, though more busy than technical.
Berhalter was like 800k-1m. Was out of contract in December with Vancouver.

4 in 4 for not good enough for Charlton Dykes.
2 pens and an open goal/GK fuck up though

Lincoln winning again though - remind me of us last season - able to grind out 1-0s.

No way they go down when teams like Cardiff play pretty ineffective powderpuff football.

Huge game on Saturday - I think it will be huge come end of the season.
  • Boro do look a bit open at the back of you can get at them.

They also look terrifying going forwards.

Golfie would love it, bless his cottons.

Half time live bet. Lost my nerve so cashed out with 2 mins left at Bristol.

1 pen not two. Three from open play. And the open goal/GK fuck up came from him and Lovelace making a well timed run and putting pressure on the keeper so wasn’t all luck.

Can we not start this whole Dykes debate again. Fact of the matter is, we've not had a striker score a goal this season,  that's probably due to how we've set up. It's not as if Leaburn has played badly is it? Would you drop him for Dykes?

Would you rather rotate him with Dykes or anyone who's actually in our squad

Just another game and another three points up for grabs as we keep ourselves comfortably clear of that bottom three.

Two 1-0 wins in 4 days for Lincoln is massive for them. 3 wins and 2 draws in their last 5 games is superb form.

And beating Skubala's new side will be really satisfying for their new managers.
  • The first thing our owners should have done is poach all of the Lincoln player recruitment team.  What they have done on a small budget is I credible so far.

Oh that's not bad at all.

Would rather him than Ouma, though it's still early days for Ouma. But Berhalter can pop up with a goal or two as well, which I'm not sure Ouma has in his locker.

Either way, what's done is done.

So we would have signed Olaofe, McGrandles and Hackett Fairchild?

He's probably scoring because Millwall have created chances for him.
How many would we have made for him so far?
He will score  more goals this season than Leaburn imo
He may do but if we had dykes instead of Leaburn I’d put my life savings he wouldn’t have done what he did for the goals at Derby and West Ham. Even played a big part in the west Brom goal as well. Besides the header at QPR don’t think he’s had any chances he’s done much more in supporting the 3 behind him than vice Versa

scum have played there 10 times in the last 8.5 years

Even with the drop off of last few games, it’s a great start to our season when once everyone has played 7 games, we can’t be lower than 7th.

More than four times as prolific as his prior most prolific season?

You just know he scores the winning goal against us when we play Millwall.
As sure as night follows day
  • Burnley throw away three points with a late goal from Derby to make it 1-1
Wonder if they'll be looking for a new Manager after the International Break, a torrid start to the season for Burnley

Would expect Hayen to go. Seems like they're a complete mess on and off the pitch
  • Have to admit, that is a beautiful strike from the Derby man to equalise at the death
  • Also a shocker that Preston,  2-0 up against a QPR team down to 10 men since the 15th minute, managed to concede a 90th minute equaliser from Paul Smyth,  presumably showing the finishing he didn't show at The Valley.

The Championship this season is a mad league, a great chance for a mid table team to get an unexpected promotion.

The fact we’re only three points off automatics having not won for five games in a row goes to show how up and down this league is sometimes.

Very frustrating at times too and shows how fine the margins are, TCs goal stands against QPR and either Alli buries the chance or we get the penalty shout against Pompey, and suddenly we're on 16 points and in the top 2!

Swings and roundabouts. Taty scores his penalty and we are two points worse off

What a game Norwich v Bolton is!
