The players signed from Luton were known quantities for jones and Chapple. Maybe seen as a safe bet by them.DamoNorthStand said:Is it really just a coincidence we get so many players with Luton links. That’s the biggest bugbear I have with our scouting…. Effective and modern set ups need to be based on advanced use of data, expansive networks and strong relationships.
You can’t tell me we use all of this and then keep getting players linked to Luton TownBurke has blown up in their face and Alli so far has failed to impress.Berry was fine if not uninspiring.Bell is obviously the standout and has performed very well. The less said about Kaminski the better.1 -
A 4 year contract?
Oh my good Lord. Why was he ever given that?
He'll be keeping Ahadme company at Cambridge next year.7 -
Whilst he looked lost at sea yesterday, he wasnt bad against pompey. So lets hope it was just that, a bad day. Hopefully he turns it around after the break2

Even £5m wouldn’t get a proven player - there’s no way we’d sell TC that cheaply and in terms of consistent end product he’s done it for less than 2 months, he’s not even shown he can do it over a full season yet.MarcusH26 said:
Exactly. £1.5m is nothing at this level. A quality starting winger sets you back £5m at least or you get incredibly lucky with a loan.NabySarr said:He looks decent as a sub, not as a starter. Tbh that’s what £1.5m gets you at championship level0 -
Yesterday's performance was up there with Mikkel Alonso, Mike Small and a couple of others.
I honestly cannot remember him managing to keep possession once.
I honestly think he was either tackled without resistance or he passed to a Cardiff player.
The incident where he made me really angry was where he was defending/marking/standing alongside one of their players at the far post and he unbelievably just walked away leaving them totally unmarked.
I don't ever recall any player ever do that.
Quite astonishing and I'd not expect that from anyone over about 7 years old.9 -
He walked away because he wrongly thought the ball was sailing out of play and was caught unawares when it didn’t. It did beggar belief.Covered End said:Yesterday's performance was up there with Mikkel Alonso, Mike Small and a couple of others.

I agree that's what happened, but unless he's waiting for double cataract surgery its quite surprising that a) he thought the ball was going out and b) even then he didn't play to the whistle and fucking try his best to do something decent4

His shovel foot literally cost us 2 points and i honestly can't remember him doing anything else all game.2121 said:Whilst he looked lost at sea yesterday, he wasnt bad against pompey. So lets hope it was just that, a bad day. Hopefully he turns it around after the break
Absolutely mental that we've given him a 4 year deal. I'd rather play Apter.2 -
Was thinking that was what Norwich paid Sheffield United for Andre Brooks but turns out that was more like £7m+ add-ons.Scoham said:

I'm wondering if some of his inability to help out in defence is due to being not the sharpest tool in the tool box.
Let's not forget that he blabbed the 3rd? shirt on social media before it's launch.2 -

I was amazed at the reception he got when subbed that game as I thought he was bang average.Chris_from_Sidcup said:

That was in part because the Pompey fans were going at himLargeAddick said:

Only time he’s provided fans with something we actually wanted to seeCovered End said:I'm wondering if some of his inability to help out in defence is due to being not the sharpest tool in the tool box.
