Went on a pub crawl in Windsor yesterday. Amazing amount of pubs in such a small area.

I'm off to watch Botafogo PB this afternoon.
I have been to some absolute shocking gaffs over here, but this one wins the prize by a mile.
    It has character though!

Should imagine their real ale selection is somewhat limited....

Not a pub but was in Pool House, Liverpool St yesterday. Son asked for an Asahi, £15. Politely told the bar keep to piss off and opted for a Guinness at £7.75.

It does have a very similar sort of vibe to a tropical version of Eastmoor Street where our beloved club was formed.

Don't get me started on the bottled lager.

Good on your son, I'd not even pay that if it was on expenses.

Went on an 11 (I think) pub crawl round Waterloo / London Bridge / Borough area on Saturday. Very refreshing to see how busy they all were.

Had a little Belgravia crawl the other day. Lunch in The Grenadier, then onto the Horse & Groom, the Star Tavern (my fave of the day), The Antelope and then onto Boisdales for an Old Fashioned and a cigar on the roof.

    Highly recommended. Though not cheap.

The Nags Head is a cracking boozer, hopefully you had a beer in there.

Nah, been in there before. Strange pub. Some might call it "eclectic". But it absolutely reeked of a strange musty combo of stale beer, old man and arse. So not for me.

Love the nags head. The bar is very strange as it’s beneath you when you walk in. They have the old school guiness POS which I love. Grenadier is a hidden gem.
