Sidwell nevrr got as far as a medical because Curbs didnt want to sign a new contract and Murry didnt want to sign a player for millions of pounds for a manager who may not be here in a season or 2.

Kezman again there was heavy interest from both sides yhen Chelsea blew us out the water and that was that.

There will always be close calls regarding players we nearly got.

Stanley Mathews being the most prominent.🫤

I understand we did a medical for Flamini a week before he signed for Arsenal.  How did we fail to complete that transfer?
    He's worth $10billion now.
Could've played for us and then bought us.

Don't believe everything you read on the internet!

He has rubbished those rumours.  Still obviously very wealthy but likely more like £20M which is quite the difference.
I know for a fact that both Flamini and Kezman medicals went through Brachers Solicitors in Maidstone at the time. He'll probably deny Sidwell and Cahill too.
I think that was a reference to Flamini rubbishing rumours that he's worth £10 billion.

Hope it’s a success but isn't something for me. Hope too you are not hit by us having a home tie v a PL club that day, especially if it’s made a late afternoon/evening kick off.

No chance as I am available to go this year. Last year I missed the Chelsea game as was away in dunfermline... One consolation I had a load of young pretty girls watching the game with me also in the pub there.

Not something I’d travel or pay £40 for personally but wish you all the best
I think that's a very reasonable price foe a Premier Inn.
You’re right there, my Cardiff one last week was  £125!

Don't want to rub salt into the wound but I got the travelodge for £59 and it was across the road from the premier. But to be fair premier looked decent from the outside....
