2-1 City, against the run of play again. We've played some lovely stuff but can't convert

    2-1 to City.
Nice goal a bit out of the blue.

When he is fully fit, might be worth getting Enslin on the first team bench. He is very good in possession.

    3-1.
Probably too late for us, sometimes it doesn’t go for you even playing very well.

FT. Actually played well but it's a lesson to kill the game off when you have the chances

    One question.

Did anyone watching realise  Peterkin was on the pitch ?

I’m still wondering where all the returning-from-injury-after-the-international-break first teamers are. Anyone know?

Couldn’t watch this game but saw him against Millwall, sounds like a similar performance where he struggled to get involved.

Worth remembering he’s still an u18, I don’t think he’s made many appearances at u21 level, and playing as a lone striker is tough.

He didn’t seem suited to that role to me, looks like his game is more about pace than being the target man, but hard to tell when he barely got the ball.

It’s also a young group with so many of last years u18s stepping up, and a lot of changes to the line up, with first team some games and more u18s involved at other times.

Said before but two years ago Mwamba and Mbick were still adapting to u21 football, some will hopefully make similar progress in time.

The score doesn't reflect the match. I can only remember City having five shots, four of which went in. We were the more skillful side, just lacked a proper striker to convert chances and convert final third pressure.

I remember two excellent crosses that came into him (at least I think it was him) and he didn't test the keeper on either occasion.
