Speaking of junior drivers being future F1 drivers, Camara is going to be stepping into Haas next season, and it could be a look into the future pairing at Ferrari in a few years time
Or it's the straight shootout for Lewis's seat in a couple of years. Camara has excellent raw pace but I expect some early flashpoints with some of his wheel to wheel racing.
Have been relieved to see Bearman getting back to his best, put in some great overtakes on the weekend... Had been getting a little concerned as even Ocon was beating him in Quali, and fully expect Camara to give him a proper challenge over one lap from next season

F1 is going back to Africa, but not to where you might expect

Not surprised... Been calling it since he was in F3 - Surprised that so many other fans in the F1 Community thought that Haas would never do it, as meant them having two Ferrari Juniors

Was the standout candidate, they were never genuinely going to throw in a 31yr old Hirakawa and I believe Fornaroli is off to WEC.

Just hope there's no flashpoints with Colapinto 😬😬

Any graft, bribery or corruption involved in this or just good old fashioned autocratic thievery from the population by the government to give to the owners of F1?

Just good old fashioned sportswashing I think.

They held the FIA end of year awards in Rwanda in 2024, so it's been in the works for a couple of years at least.

All part of the bigger "Visit Rwanda" plan, I know a lot of their GDP is based on service, hospitality and tourism so I gather this is all linked to that

They held the cycling road world championships a couple of years ago too, definitely a targeted campaign on sport

Ahead of the new engine formula in a few years, has anyone heard clips of the Aston Martin 1968 on track?

The sound is abso fucking lately INSANE.

Freddie Slater will be doing FP1 at both Mexico and Brazil for Audi in the coming weeks
Was beginning to get worried they wouldn't bother until next season - Who was the last F3 Driver to get an FP1 run out?

Don’t know how the race engineers put up with it sometimes, the pissy little arseholes the drivers are with them sometimes.

Is it just because we hear more of the radio from the drivers and engineers now or have drivers always tried to grass each other up like 8 year olds telling teacher?

Think we just hear a lot more of it nowadays. Unless you're Red Bull and in which case it's indecipherable.

Sounds like Ocon has potentially had a falling out with Haas as Hirakawa will replace him this weekend.
Be interesting if Camara now gets to finish the season if there are issues with Ocon

I've been out all afternoon and haven't seen anything from any of the big journos with any clues as to what's happened? Fits with Ocons character issues.

BREAKING: Esteban Ocon will be replaced by Ryo Hirakawa for the rest of the Mexico City Grand Prix weekend at Haas The team does not give a reason for Ocon’s absence, and says no further statements will be made at this time #F1 #MexicoGP

I understand the change is not related to the illness that has been affecting other drivers in the paddock #F1 #MexicoGP

Presume he was pissed off with them changing his running program in practice, and maybe he's said something along the lines of "you prioritised Ryo's running over mine, put him in the fucking car then" and they've just turned around and gone "ok"

Supposedly going to Aston as a reserve but doubt we'll see him as a main driver again

He'd be better focusing on Formula E, WEC or Indycar now
Why would you touch him after the way he's left his last two teams

I think the attitude problems will put a lot of works teams off. I also don't think his ego is ready to give up on F1.

    Fucking Ferrari never learn

They need to be stricter with their drivers about what's allowed and what's not, and when Leclerc does shit like that they need to actually act upon it

+5 for Charles , completely obvious. Ferrari will probably fuck up serving it too
