Many said the same thing about Mick Collins.

Didn't stop him writing utter bullshit that damaged the club, they're all the same, self-serving scum.

What BULLSHIT did Mick Collins write?

From where I'm standing he told the truth. The Christensen fiasco being one example. Unpalatable to read yes but the truth none the less.
  • [cite]Posted By: LenGlover[/cite]Some people see the word 'Mail' and have a pavlovian reflex to disagree with anything contained within regardless of merit.

To dispel your idea that it's 'just because it's the Mail', here's a really good article from Martin Samuel:

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/worldcup2010/article-1288196/MARTIN-SAMUEL-England--smiling-happy-.html

"We should nail a couple of falsehoods straight from the off. The first is that England's players do not care, the second that they are not good enough. Passion is an over-rated quality in football anyway. 'They don't want it enough,' is a common refrain, but if it was just about wanting it, any team could win the league. "

I think it was the timing of his remarks rather than the content....if my memory serves me right.

England as ever have the best support numbers wise for a Foreign nation at a tournament. The fans back them from First minute to last. Then they vent their spleens at the final whistle, don't see a problem with that at all.

This team same as many before them do not Deserve the support they get home & away from the loyalest fans in Europe & indeed the world in my opinion.
