Hayes never played for the Daggers but he was born there . According to Wiki he is on a three year contract at Preston  , I'm not sure Brown would want to sell him to potential rivals .

Brunswick and Bullivant once played at the back together but the less said about that the better.

Was Danny Green once a youth player at Charlton, or have I imagined that?

Keeper Daryl Flahavan (released by Portsmouth) would offer some good competition to whatever keeper we have at the start of next season.

How about Sean Mcginty who will sold to Man U in 2007 he must be a big strong lad now, cant we get him on loan from the red devils. As previous posters have said we do need some youth at the back to go with the experience

Dave Mirkin from scunny. He could be brought in as cover for that bald prat.

  • The keeper Mirkin can do a job, covers the area well and tidys up nicely. The only problem is that when under pressure has been known to get a bit loose and sloppy. On reflection may come unstuck.
  • How depressing is it when you've not heard of 75% of our 'wish list' let alone the realistic targets?

Disagree about Mirkin. He's out of the top drawer and was chosen in front of the Brazilian most Saturdays.

    Higgs GK
    O'Halloran LB
    Kisnorbo CB
    Seip CB
    Aliadiere ST
    Ellington ST
    Porter ST

All free transfers, add Green, a new LM and maybe a new Semedo (CM, CB, RB utility man) and maybe we don't need a significant investment?

  • Franck Moussa

    Seip

    Naylor

Adam Barrett (even if he is a palace player, he'd be perfect league one)

    Francis Christophe

He sits on the bench for L.City, and alot of the times doesn't make it. He's a cracking player would link well with BWP i think :-) and to be honest he'd link with Francis with their time at Southend.

possible i suppose although personally i think the games moved on and he's a bit of an unnecessary luxury

I've heard that the rug's been pulled on the Mirken deal...
  • What nationality is Mirkin? Brazilian?
  • Mirkin can be used up front and can also do a job at the back but its cerrtainly not his best position.
  • I've heard that the rug's been pulled on the Mirken deal...

If that's true then it may have been a close shave. I think he'd have only been covering over the cracks in our defence anyway.

Benik Afobe as the physical presence SCP is looking for would be spot on.
