A Plymouth-supporting mate described him as a headless chicken when I asked.

Then we wouldn't have signed Green, and I'd rather have Green than Bolasie. The latter has pace, which Green doesn't have, but he is the better all round player.

    He's signed for Palarse?
Load of rubbish. Never rated him. Decent league one player on a good day, not fit for Conference South on a bad day. Trouble in the dressing room, bad attitude and lazy. And not tall enough.

Haha mike you melt, just shows how little you know about football.

Dizzee you need to get in touch with Powell and go work as his Chief scout, this lad is a great player. Still, lol at mike.

Hate to keep bumping this on the regular, but did anyone see him against Liverpool?

My scouting so far has been Yannick Bolasie, Rickie Lambert, and Danny Graham when they were all playing in the lower leagues for Plymouth, Bristol Rovers, and I think it was Carlisle at the time. If we had listened to me, we would be quite a force now.

Is there a job going at Charlton for scouting. It looks like I've got an eye for talent on a Saturday day, as well as a Saturday night.

He was excellent...very positive and Liverpool couldn't cope. Let's hope Callum Harriot develops in a similar way!

You & me both. I mentioned Rickie Lambert to Peter Varney, when Varney was still at the club and Lambert was at Bristol R. He said we weren't interested, because Lambert was just a big lump :-(

send applications for assistant to the head scout to reamsofverse
  • Should have snapped him up years ago when he was at Plymouth. Didn't get all the fuss about Zaha the year they went up. Always thought Bolaise was the more effective player.
