Britain is a land mass - you must at least recognise that.Whether you like it or not, if you're English you're British.

Born in England, makes you English no mater what back ground you are from. You are however a British citizen by the same rights. Meaning we are (if born in England) both English and a British citizen. Same rules apply to rest of the British isle.Whether you like it or not, if you're English you're British.

Sorry Uboat, I do not recognise Britain, the only thing British about me is my passport and I had no say in that matter.Yep I will give you that however when you approach Wales or Scotland it says "Welcome to..." indicating I am entering another country which means I am leaving England.
Most of Europe is a land mass but try telling the French they are German.
Dont get me wrong I am not a skin head thug who belongs to the BNP covered in swastikas but I do consider myself English and not British.

You had the 'choice' not to have one. Might not be a great choice but you did have a say in the matter.Whether you like it or not, if you're English you're British.

I wouldn't tell a Frenchman that he was German, but I would tell him he was a European (as well as being a Frenchman).0

Where's the thread about taking threads away from the subject matter
Its fecking dark out there and the lightening keeps hurting my eyes as it reflects off my monitor.

Unless he is from Alsace and then you have a difficult "choice"
