So pleased that Clarke won, those challenges on the last round obviously weren't the hardest he has faced.

for me betting on the britsh open is like betting on the grand national .one of the favourites will win but you are always gonna get a story with an unfancied runner going for glory ...

darren clarke might feature come sunday, rory too,i fancy jiminez even more  now ..his game is v suited and it wd alsobe good for golf if sergio broke his duck

...and if the weather does get filthy i ll enjoy even more looking at it on the box sunday afternoon !
so i am on a roll with my punditry .....i say cafc will be promoted !

Fantasic stuff from Clarke, nerveless and steady over the last nine. Great for European/British/Northern Irish golf. Glad I am not a betting man, VG wanting a brit to lose so he can win his bet, I could never do that. Golfies prediction of a choke way off, so often the case where people who know nothing make better predictions than those who do - how often has the office fantasy football league been won by the bloke in accounts who only follows formula one and picks his team out with a pin.

And as for Rickie Fowler, someone buy that man a mirror FFS. On Saturday he looked like one of the golden girls in that shell suit...

Great comment yesterday by either Ken Brown or Wayne Grady when talking about Ricky Fowlers outfit....." He should have I've been Tangoed written on back of t-shirt"!!!  Brilliant!!

he wears that bright orange because he went Oklahoma university. Thats their college colours.

Algarve, when it comes to indivdual sport i dont really care where the player is from tbh. To me he's representing himself, not his country. Plus i dont know darren clarke but im guessing i could do with some money more than he does.
