Its a must win game.CafcSteve said:Makes tomorrow a big game for us!
Can't see us getting up at 'Boro next Wed eve and if we don't pick up 3 points soon we will 4th or 5th bottom.
We can’t keep on missing out on opportunities.1 -
West Brom and Leicester must be shitting themselves!1
-
No Thierry Small tonight? He's the one that makes them tick4
-
Oxford still 6 points behind us. That win would drop BOTH Leicester and WBA into the bottom 3.
Much as I want to win next Saturday, it's definitely a must not lose.6 -
The over-riding thing about this game is how shit Preston are.3
-
Knew an Oxford win would make people borderline hysterical

Can Preston go down?0

I hate Preston. Hope the bastards never go up.3

In-play table...

Can't keep on relying on other sides to do us the favours, we need to be the makers of our own destiny, starting tomorrow...13

We are now joint 2nd worst (with Blackburn) for goals scored. Only kept off being the worst team for scoring goals by a bunch of kids with no hope.

Amazing what back to back wins can do at this stage of the season. Oxford looked dead and buried before last Saturday2

Five goals in two games for Oxford.0

Be amazing if the season finished like thatEr_Be_Ab_Pl_Wo_Wo_Ch said:In-play table...

Reckon they’ll beat Blackburn in the week which would make it a three point gap.Pelling1993 said:0 -
We're going to be relegated in March at this rate.3

My fear is that it is teams like Oxford, Pompey & Blackburn that you want to worry about & eventually be above. Teams like WBA & Leicester have the players to turn games and go on a run. They are both in false positions (esp Leicester who are only in the bottom 3 due to a points deduction). I know it might not seem like it now but I wouldn't bank on trying to stay up at the expense of WBA and Leicester.4

One of the founding clubs of the football league. Steeped in history. First ever club to achieve the league/FA cup double. One of the only clubs to have won all top four tiers in English football. Hardly a nothing club.Redvalleyeast said:Preston are a really unlikeable club, just hang around in the Championship year on year like a bad smell. A real nothing club.4 -
They are playing Blackburn at home on Wednesday, while we are getting tonked by Boro.Pelling1993 said:2 -
I preffered it when Oxford were more or less relegated4

Oxford have had eight shots on target in an away game.0

In 19/20 we first went into the bottom 3 in early March when we lost at home to Boro.swords_alive said:We're going to be relegated in March at this rate.
It could almost be a repeat this time around if we dont win tomorrow. Might not be against Boro but after we play Norwich it could well be, and like 19/20 I dont see us getting out if we did drop into the relegation places.0 -
They have Blackburn (march 11th), us (march 14th) plus pompey and Sheffield weds still to play, they very much could still stay up.Er_Be_Ab_Pl_Wo_Wo_Ch said:Oxford not reading the script. All the struggling teams including ourselves will have been pinning a lot of hopes on Oxford nailing down that 2nd bottom place. Win tonight and they're out the bottom 3.
I can see them being above us in 8 days and us getting zero points in march.4 -

Everyone having a normal one then5
