Anyone going from Strood (or nearby) to QPR? What is looking like the best route? I know you can use TFL/Google but prefer a recommended route please 😁?
If using public transport from Strood, 17/47 past the hour direct trains to Abbey Wood change to Elizabeth Line. Elizabeth line connects with Central Line at Liverpool St, Tottenham Court Rd or Bond St, Central Line to White City or change at Farringdon catch a Hammersmith & City Line train to Wood Lane or Shepherds Bush Market.
Good opportunity for those who haven't tried it yet, to use the secret shortcut from the Liz line at Farringdon, directly to the westbound Circle/ Hammersmith and City Line platform at Barbican, if heading to Wood Lane or Shepherds Bush Market.
Are the top few rows obstructed by steel from the roof? Our tickets are near the back of the middle block but ‘restricted view’. Hard enough for my 10 year old to see anyway when there’s a big lump in front of him 😂
I haven’t been to Loftus Road since we played Fulham there when they were ground sharing

Worth giving this a go even if you're not going to the match!

Still Looking for a Spare Ticket for Saturday, please DM me if you have one.
QPR still have loads unsold, if it's a choice of watching it on the TV or in the stadium, I'll choose the stadium every time, even if it is amongst the home fans (except Millwall & Palace).

Looks like they may still be selling tickets for the lower tier in the stand we are in. Can’t tell how many they’ve sold/not sold but if there is a big enough chunk available they could consider pushing their fans to one side of the stand and give us the other half. We could probably shift them even at this late stage.

I've already bought 1 in the lower tier on the QPR website, wasn't missing out on this after our start to the season, not counting Cambridge 😑

Do you have to be a member?
You have to sign up to their website site but not become an actual member, just fill in the basics such as name, address, etc. For me it was worth it to get a seat at the game, where ever I maybe sitting

Had to look that one up as very slightly before my time. Made his league debut for us in April 1982/3 before breaking in to the QPR team to play alongside Terry Fenwick. Played in the 1986 Mexico world cup for Northern Ireland. Died age 48, far too soon, RIP. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2012/jun/24/alan-mcdonald

He was outstanding when he played for us. Easily the best player on the pitch every week. We were doomed before he came along

Debut for us was 82/83
Thanks. Corrected. My first proper full season as a fan was 83/4.
I'm looking for a spare ticket for the match, if anyone has one please DM me. & I'll get you a pint or two before the match on top of paying for ticket of course!! My QPR mate sent me this photo & said that all pubs close to Loftus Rd are Home only, so were going to The Spoons at The Bush.

Tooting Red Army: Yes, I've mentioned it a couple of times! I'm assuming rightly or wrongly not everyone reads every post on every thread, just most recent ones? My sons friend is really keen to come with us to the game we have tickets. I worked in Shephards Bush for 23yrs and my office was very close to the ground, and I really like going to Loftus Rd. Meeting with QPR mate I might even ask once more.........
