& I'll get you a pint or two before the match on top of paying for ticket of course!! My QPR mate sent me this photo & said that all pubs close to Loftus Rd are Home only, so were going to The  Spoons at The Bush.
You still after a ticket for QPR ?

You’ve only mentioned it 73 times on this page alone
Never known anyone so keen to visit Shepherd's Bush

Tooting Red Army: Yes, I've mentioned it a couple of times! I'm assuming rightly or wrongly not everyone reads every post on every thread, just most recent ones?
My sons friend is really keen to come with us to the game we have tickets. I worked in Shephards Bush for 23yrs and my office was very close to the ground, and I really like going to Loftus Rd. Meeting with QPR mate
I might even ask once more.........

Register with QPR and sit in the home end.  You might even be able to see the game as well!
  • I have a Ticket in Block Y2 to sell if anybody is in need? It is an U25 but doubt it’ll be a problem.

Your best bet at this stage, if you dare  is to buy a ticket in the home end, or watch on TV.

I remembered Charlie Austin scoring a screamer against us from 25 yards or so. I was in the upper tier and the ball disappeared for a split second before I heard QPR's celebration. Far better view in the lower tier, which is probably why they give it to the home fans. In the future people will have some strange nostalgia about Loftus Road. 😕
  • I’ve always disliked Loftus Road due to either the restricted views and/or leg room. The last time we played there I was sitting in the Stanley Bowles stand nearby the stanchion is and had to keep bobbing my head either side to watch the match…I”m sure we lost 1-0.
  • Any spares going? Need 2.

I might be in the minority here but I love Loftus Road! I think it's a great stadium.
A poor stadium objectively, but in a world of boring bowls, it makes a nice change.

not keen on it personally Especially if you're near the back or the corner of the stand. You can't see along the goal line. When sarr scored back in 2019 had to rely on those in the lower tier to let me and those around me know that he had put it in as we couldn't see along that line.
  • Having one refreshment stand open when the away end was sold out was also a joke. Organisation in that stand was even worse than Charltons.

    Pretty much my experience yesterday.
I saw Apter mishit his volley into the ground, watched it bounce up slowly out of my view.
I thought  it was heading wide but was sure at that pace somebody would have time to clear.
Couldn't believe it when the "yessssss" crescendo started.
Assumed one of ours had got a touch until I saw the highlights later.

We must have been in a similar area Y2.
  • I was in the 3rd row, so had a fairly good view, though being tall helps. Both Airman Brown and Headphones Norm were in the front row!
  • The cramped layout of that upper tier is a nightmare. Surprised they’ve not been made to upgrade it tbh.

Not sure there is much they can do.  As noted in by insanely short width of the exit ‘tunnel’ for fans, the stadium is tightly packed in and no room to add (west London prices).  This is also noted by there excuse of a ‘VIP bar, which inexplicable faces directly at the away fans.
