The Magnificent Seven protecting Gate 21 after the match today, with the sheriff behind.
But why are they all on the Charlton side of the fence?1 -
Two Stewards standing to attention before KO yesterday, where are the Stewards on the otherside of Gate 21 & who is keeping an eye on this section of the Away End & unlocked Gate?0 -

The Trust should definitely find out who from Greenwich council was there and write to them about the concerns.
As others have rightly said, the safety certificate can be withheld if the council aren’t happy.
Did anyone have any joy getting in touch with the local MP?
Maybe CAST could shed some light?4 -

DubaiCAFC said:Honestly, was it that bad? I get it, people was put out of there normal match day routine? It wasn't as if there was a huge riot, fans fighting all over the stadium.. There was a few scuffles, that you would expect in a local derby..
Really question sometimes, do people have nothing better to do, that moan and complain?
Here comes the backlash for this comment.5 -

The pressing issue would be - was there a meeting prior to the game or not?
Hopefully CAST can shed some light7 -

Ok there we have it @cafc999Weegie Addick said:A CAST board member attends and inputs to the Safety Advisory Group. This is not a club committee.
So was there a Safety advisory group meeting before the Millwall game and did a Supporters Trust board member attend?
I guess that’s what you are asking? Thanks

This thread has plenty of people who have commented in a negative way on this fixture - Cannot think why? So I would have assumed the club would have held a meeting prior to this. Maybe they did but nobody can give a clear answer.2 -
Saw this in our local paper....Hastings takes on the Far Right – Hastings Independent Press 4th paragraph.0
-
The lack of police within home areas during the game was wrong, and I don't even think they needed more police, just better distribution of the resources provided.
Vast numbers of police just standing outside the control box doing nothing, when a small number should have been elsewhere in the stadium to deal with any issues caused by Millwall fans in home areas. There were Millwall fans in the Curbs stand, and a box full of them, but NO police anywhere near if things had kicked off. One policeman in the stand would have made a big difference.3 -

The SAG wouldn’t necessarily meet before each match. There is a meeting between the club and the police before each game and there should be a meeting of senior staff, or was in the past.2

Having seen Millwall "fans" push through Gate 21 & attack Charlton fans, I couldn't believe some of them were 40-60's old.....Really, bit sad?

If the police can’t handle 3000 Millwall fans, we should reduce ticket sales to how many they can.
Sales should also be restricted to their Club members.3 -

Its very simple pay for some of 297 police who were on duty to actually be in the stadium and police the Millwall fans and don't rely on a few teenage stewards to try and deal with any Millwall fans who misbehave & use CCTV to spot any troublemakers etc. Next time we play Millwall at Valley they should have their allocation reduced to 2000 (that i believe is our away allocation at the Den) and any damage to the Valley bill Millwall FC & Millwall ticket price should be max price under EFL rules
most important, just keep them at the end till surrounding streets and train station are clear of Home fans. Milwall love to sing "No One Likes Us We Don't Care" .....Well thats good, as decades of hooliganism isn't rewarded there are consequences...and "We Don't Care" either if Millwall fans are inconvenienced, less of them come and they pay more! (Yes they may charge us same) but we get treated badly as Away fans at Den, time they got used to same treatment ! COYA's7 -

It would appear that the weakest point in the gate is the center bolt which projects downward into the ground, a concerted effort by a determined group could quite easily bend that out of shape.
The whole thing needs replacing with something significantly more substantial…..end of.👊

If memory serves the SAG happens pre season and one of its purpose is to agree the safety certificate needed to play your seasons games. So the council should have the minutes too. Ours was always held at The Den and I took the minutes and decided the itinerary.
But things may have changed since my day.0
