Nyoni’s loan was blocked by Liverpool six days ago. But we are interested, the problem is that lots of other clubs are interested too.11

Don’t think Field is necessarily what we are lacking in midfield but I’d have been very happy with it just because it’s adds another LWB option. Still think we are taking a big gamble there relying too much on Chambers staying fit3
-
Having seen him play yes he’s better than Fullah and any of our midfielders by a mile. He bossed the midfield against Southampton in the EFL cup earlier this seasonLargeAddick said:
Is he? How many games has he played in the Championship? Not the sort of loan I’d be happy with, we already have our own 18 year old in Fullah.fenaddick said:
I would be amazed if Liverpool let him out on loan. He's a top end Champ player at the very least, would be some coupraytreacy said:#42 Trey Nyoni

Good to hear from you. I have just received the Will of your dear departed estranged Great Uncle and as we move to settle probate I'd be grateful if you could send us your home address for postage, and your bank account details for transfers.WSS said:
Why not? Looks legit to me.fenaddick said:This seems to be where the Nyoni stuff has come from, wouldn't pay too much attention

I suppose the Liverpool CM coming to us would make the scouts life simple watching both him & Chambers. very much clutching at straws!0

I just don't buy it. This was from last Tuesday. Safe to presume that's top flight European interest, I'd be seriously impressed if we managed to beat that off
Young midfielder Trey Nyoni, who has attracted interest from clubs across Europe about a temporary move, is set to stay put for the rest of the season. Nyoni has only featured in five games in all competitions in 2025-26, but has been an unused sub on 16 occasions.

Perhaps for Liverpool having two young lads with us is quite appealing?raytreacy said:Nyoni’s loan was blocked by Liverpool six days ago. But we are interested, the problem is that lots of other clubs are interested too.6 -
I think you may do us down a little there. Game time in the Championship is hugely valuable and can progress a player forward. The championship is better than a lot of top European flights.fenaddick said:I just don't buy it. This was from last Tuesday. If he comes, I want him to keep the same lettering on his shirt. We haven't had a letter from another alphabet since Guðmunsson's 'eth'.4 -
I hope I'm wrong but I just don't see itRC_CAFC said:

Gallagher was an exception, but also hadn't played a minute of men's football when coming here. Nyoni has and as they say if you're good enough you're old enough.Scoham said:
Not sure an 18 year old is what we need. Gallagher was an exception, a player that age is unlikely to make that sort of impact.CAFCsayer said:
Nyoni has been described as a No. 8 with good balance, capable of playing with both feet and having the ability to beat his marker on either side.[26] At an early age, he has drawn comparisons to a young Paul Pogba due to his 'similar confidence and composure', 'tall, slender' build, and 'skillful, intelligent' ability. He's quick on both feet with great composure on the ball and has shown his confidence in the FA Cup. [27]raytreacy said:#42 Trey Nyoni

Sounds exactly what we need, so fingers crossed. Must have something about him to have got aps for liverpool first team
Could mean Fullah goes out and gets minutes at another club and actually develops more than playing 10 mins here and there and having to play wing backThe Red Robin said:
So bring and develop an 18 year old from Liverpool over our own one in Fullah.CAFCsayer said:

A friend was education head in their academy for a little while. He's a big Millwall fan but soon left because the scholars were 'a load of little shits'.Lewis Coaches said:
Millwall are not going anywhere near the top flight. IN all there history Millwall have spent just two season in the top flight of english football and the last time finished bottom on 20 points.Athletico Charlton said:
I do. Go up and they spend a tonne of money on their academy. Suddenly we have a third Cat A academy on our doorstep (Palace and West Ham already there). So whilst I don't really care about Millwall, I care that it will affect us.Sword65pf said:
Absolutely not, my point was I don’t care if they go up or not.ShootersHillGuru said:
Not a hindrance though is it.Sword65pf said:
They’ve got millions to spend anyway, parachute payments don’t mean they will straight back up.ShootersHillGuru said:
Yep I’d laugh at the millions in parachute payments they’d get for even one season up there.Sword65pf said:
The thing is a really don’t care how the scum do other than when we play them, if they did go up I’d probably enjoy watching them relegated!!cafc_se7 said:
Which is why I honestly think 4 more wins makes us safe. The league is not that great. We will capitalise on it by staying up but dare I say our neighbours may well capitalise by being one of the stronger teams in the division!shine166 said:The crazy thing is, as bad as our form has been, if we'd have managed to get 10 more points by now we'd be just outside the playoffs.1 -
I'm sure that reports from Chambers will count for something as respects our ability with young loanees?ShootersHillGuru said:

I guess that means some of you would turn down 18 year old Lamine Yamal because it would hinder Fullah's development? Christ.14
-
-
Gutting that we signed Conor Gallagher the last time we were in the championship, it really hindered the development of James Vennings and Ben Dempsey40

We are 100% in for Fields, but atm looks off else where. Also after a lad from Liverpool. Wonder if Chambers, Coady and Lloyd can sell him on wearing our famous red instead of theirs.....9
