Why would we disclose what our transfer budget is?!RonnieMoore said:
It was 20 mill for this window and the summerAthletico Charlton said:So what do people think next summers transfer budget is..?
£10M like last summer seems reasonable if still in the Championship. Add £5M for M'bick, add £20M new investment, add £1M Lookman money, minus £1.5M on Collins.
Gives us £34.5M - exciting.4 -
Can we please put the Nyoni chat in the bin lol, it was from some unknown Twitter account called dave4737847376653828 and has not been corroborated by any reliable source.2

has anyone posted the crazy 48 hours pic yet?2

All the talk of not being able to spend Mbick money confirms to me that a lot of our fans have based a lot of their thinking around football on FIFA & Football Manager. Would be a shame to loose a young talent but I'd like to remind everyone we also have DK out at the same level who has a 1 in 2 strike rate for Walsall in the league, guess some just have a glass half empty approach to things

45 minutes to go then...0

I think that's our business done with incomings0

Didn’t @Covered_End_Lad suggest he was being worked on earlier?Callumcafc said:Can we please put the Nyoni chat in the bin lol, it was from some unknown Twitter account called dave4737847376653828 and has not been corroborated by any reliable source.
Guy is usually spot on.4 -
having a great career to be fair, especially with the slower start after leaving usForeverAddickted said:12 -
Or until Linda Cawley sings, if she is a fat lady.WSS said:

I think Kanu is the more natural goalscorer of the two.YannTheMann said:All the talk of not being able to spend Mbick money confirms to me that a lot of our fans have based a lot of their thinking around football on FIFA & Football Manager. But a big lump that scores seems to be the in thing at the moment.1 -

Mbick needs to be eight figures, but how much for TC or Kanu?1

If we get a good fee of say £5 million plus for Mbick I’m happy for him to go. That £5 million could go a long way to help building a better Championship squad for next season. If Mbick was currently playing and scoring for our first team and contributing to our fight for survival then it would be different but he’s not and from what little I’ve seen of him I don’t think he’d be in our first team plans next season. If he stays then I trust NJ to assess him in the summer.2

Doesn’t look good on Big Sam not playing him at Everton does it.ossie64 said:

Most likey more to do with other teams then us ..CharltontillidieCOYR said:Never get why we always seem to leave it to the last min with the chance of it falling through

Have a rumour for you all. Ian Poveda on loan from Sunderland. Left footed winger16

I love our academy but comments like this are outrageous and hilarious. 7 goals in 20 games at League Two level and suddenly he’s worth £10m+?Gisappointed said:Mbick needs to be eight figures, but how much for TC or Kanu?12 -
No thanks. Have 2 already in TC & Fevrier. And we dont play with wingers. Wingbacks only. Otherwise we would have played Apter more.NabySarr said:Have a rumour for you all. Ian Poveda on loan from Sunderland. Left footed winger3 -

Has Cawley dragged us back in : )2

I was going to say the next Cawley tweet will be crucial, but the above has ruined that.6

For MM its not just his goals but his overall game. £5m bought us Tante, Burke and Apter, none of whom are contributing to our seasonVanbrughHill said:

Because if any rival club see's Ronnie's post, they won't have a clue what our transfer budget is....................just like Ronnie !se9addick said:

We were linked with him about 4-5 yrs ago iirc, although I guess no one in our recruitment team still around from those daysNabySarr said:Have a rumour for you all. Ian Poveda on loan from Sunderland. Left footed winger0 -
I take Cawley’s tweet to mean “I haven’t got the ‘stand down’ message yet but it could come any time” rather than confirmation that something is definitely happening.11

Might as well hold on to Mbick…can’t spend the money on transfers anyhow….2
-
He has never played above league 2. I'm one who thinks we should be holding onto him, but 5mil would be good businessGisappointed said:Mbick needs to be eight figures, but how much for TC or Kanu?0 -

Perhaps the owners don't want to keep ploughing in money month after month.ct_addick said:Might as well hold on to Mbick…can’t spend the money on transfers anyhow….1
