Been for dinner, come back expecting the Liverpool fella.. nothing!!! What’s going on?, couldn’t quite get over the line comment incoming😂
Liverpool put a block on him moving today
What about the player from a London club that you said was signing Friday Morning?
You belong on that old Transfer Rumours website!
Pity you can’t read a message properly what I said was that given the player was expected on Thursday night ( in fact the player did not turn up) .. then he as to be coming from a London club or somewhere round the M25 .. and I asked when the deadline for signings on Friday was… not  he signing …
Maybe he's still driving round the M25.

    sunderland highlights so far:

made his debut and came off injured after 1 minute

came back from injury late on against boro and missed an open goal due to slipping over, resulting in an injury.

came on against leeds and did fuck all except give away a couple fouls.

    alleged attitude problems in training.

and thats it. what an absolute waste of a contract. send this guy to barnsley.

This was posted about Poveda by a Sunderland fan last April.

    Please forward to NJ
Oh shit maybe he's not done any homework on the player and picked a name out of a hat, someone really needs to send this to Nathan before it's too late
You really are a miserable fucker, take a joke FFS!!
Was this a post to yourself? I don't think I'm the miserable one here pal, at least I'm not the one incessantly moaning

After writing off Coady I’ll reserve judgement on Poveda and assume NJ and his team know more than me about signings

Part of me hopes we sign Poveda, purely for the impending meltdown from a bunch of grown adults
But joking and nagging aside, his record in all senses over 8 years, is shite.

Last thing in our squad is a waster.

But, we have bought wasters in the past, so I would expect we may well sign him.

I am glad that Karoy has gone because he is not good enough for this league.
  • Could do with some of those crisps from that Southall image given the impending arguments on here

I guess Coady was the Anderson replacement and Poveda will be the Knibbs replacement?

I think we could be having a pre-meltdown meltdown

I will say that NJ likes a player who's hungry* and angry. Someone who wants to rebuild their career...

    *yes yes, the obvious jokes

Wld rather have kept Anderson around for his energy and workrate if we havent replaced him

    shocking decision if so!!
Anderson was energetic, but not much else

Can't see anything negative about letting Anderson go out on loan, no matter who we bring in. I would rather play Coady, Coventry, JRC, Carey, Docherty, Fullah in our midfield so that means, for me, him getting game time elsewhere is a good decision

Anderson isn’t good enough for the Championship, I love his energy, but can’t pick a pass to save his life

    That’s if we sign poveda
  • Poveda is a technician. We don’t have many of those, as a younger player he had some serious ability and has lost his way. I think he’d be worth a gamble on a free for 6 months if released.

Hoping Nyoni is the man we’re waiting on

Ian Poveda is 167cm tall and his history looks like he's basically done nothing and hardly played at the age of 25. This guy better be iniesta and xavi combined

Surprised the left side not strengthened further. We are depending / gambling on Bell & Chambers keeping their fitness.

Poveda is a technician” - on what do you base this assertion, given his record over 8 years?

What are we not seeing ?
