Living in a time zone 7 hours behind London is shite when it's a 12:30 KO on a Saturday, but really comes into its own on transfer deadline day - all the excitement/disappointment out of the way by tea time.

Little bit concerned about lack of legs in midfield. Oh well additions have been positive this window

Part of me hopes we sign Poveda, purely for the impending meltdown from a bunch of grown adults
    You are a strange man
    Found one of the meltdowners!
You’re going to have to give me your criteria for a meltdown, because this is a bit weird.
Is it by any chance, ‘Doesn’t agree with me’?
I would class the criteria of a meltdown as loads of people pretending they know how good Poveda is when in reality they haven't got a scooby. Flip it back to you, is it a bit weird that I'm not throwing my toys out the pram claiming I know more about the professional game as someone who goes and watches some football on a weekend, than a manager who does it day in day out?

  • No more activity at #cafc today.

MD Jim Rodwell: "We’re pleased with the additions we’ve made to help balance the squad and add further quality and Championship experience. We’re now looking forward to the final 17 games, starting with Friday’s home game against Queens Park…

Well, that's left us extremely light in midfield now. Disappointing.

They’ll have a job to top the legend of Jerome Roussillon.
  • Shocking

especially after jones admitted we needed midfield upgrades after the millwall nightmare

Always the way with us on deadline day !!

Just find the Anderson out no CM in to replace him move quite weird. Feels like we've left ourselves one player light in there

Who will be the first to moan that we haven’t signed Poveda?😂
  • Fucking nuts letting Karoy with no midfield reinforcements

No Mbick out is a big positive and I am very much looking forward to seeing our new look midfield of Coady and Collins.

At least 2 players for each role. Light in quality maybe but should be enough to stay up

No it’s not weird at all, but thanks for confirming that you don’t know what a meltdown is.

    Collins in.

Anderson and Gough out on loan.

    That’ll be it I reckon.
My prediction from yesterday. Close enough.
  • Guess Coady has effectively replaced Anderson
Not ideal, would have been nice to get another Midfielder, but we now work with what we've got
    Hopefully it'll be enough
