    .....is he injured?
Blinded in left eye. Accidentally poked himself in eye when signing contract.

The highest level he has played is L1, but trust me, bro, he's the real deal!

    Jones has done it again!

Out for nearly a year with a back injury. Sounds perfect.

Where we are at the moment being fussy is the last thing we need, somebody who writes left handed would be a start !

I wonder if we tried for Harry Amass (who’s about to sign for Norwich) and Chambers was a back up.
He needs to be at it from day one🙏

The interview has made me hopeful we’re still after a left sided centre back 🤞

I mean at least it's a left back but he looked pony when we played Wigan at their place last year, probably slightly underwhelmed with this if anything, let's hope Junior League One is decent and actually signs
  • Chambers from Liverpool was a name that got mentioned to me earlier, although it’s been pretty quiet on the rumours front…
    I think you're right

I would have posted earlier but didn't get told anyone was signing today. He must have been the LB that I mentioned was injured. Its great to have a LB in but really needed someone match fit. Suspect we will be in for another too...

I can barely remember who we faced on Saturday, let alone who back in August 2024
Regardless... We're Charlton Athletic... We make everyone look shite

To be fair I thought Thelo Aasgard looked very good in that game and I think he's been a bag of shite for Rangers as I understand so what do I know (but in my credit I think Luton fans really liked him last season)

    Jones has done it again!

After enjoying a successful loan spell with Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock in the second part of the 2022/23 campaign, the defender was handed his Liverpool debut by Jürgen Klopp in the Reds’ 3-1 victory over Leicester City in the Carabao Cup in September 2023.

He then earned three Europa League appearances – including starts against Toulouse and Royale Union Saint-Gilloise – before spending the latter half of the 2023/24 season on loan at Wigan Athletic.

The Europa League minutes (137) came in full rotation under Klopp, and his EFL Cup debut lasted 1 minute.

Are we signing a Europa League calibre player here? Jones has done it again!

His European experience alongside Coventrys Conference league winners medal, surely means we’ll be making a promotion push now no??

Just pointing out that you were wrong.

Love that you felt the need to explain he only played under rotation though, as if somehow everyone here was thinking we'd signed Liverpool's first choice wingback or something.

Also enjoyed you found out how many minutes he'd played to continue the moan. Top class dedicated moaning. Keep it up and you'll be a Golfie one day my son.

I mean he's a striker that's recently started playing wingback, I'd be amazed if he could slot into LCB that easily

Looked good at covering against the ball in being from the limited highlights I saw but I wouldn't be playing someone like him LCB in the Champ.
