Relegation loses us around £10m. Can’t see there being a fee for Ramsay that is worth the risk of relegation. We can sell Ramsay in the summer, yes we won’t get as much as we would now but we will still be in the championship which is worth much more than the difference in feefenaddick said:

If Ramsay leaves then that’s me done with this forum and the club.**Apart from continuing to attend games, follow news of the club closely, watching games on tv, reading the forum on a daily basis and commenting from time to time. But apart from that I will be DONE.45

Ramsay is a top right back but I would prefer a pedigree winger or central midfielder because these positions have more influence in a game. If we get a good offer and he’s out of contract for sure we should sell. Perhaps there’s a player like a c/b at Boro we could buy.3

Ramsay isn't out out of contract in the summer, so if we sold him then we could get a lot more than a panic sale now. We could put him up for auction, that might attract other clubs that didn't realise we were open to offers. Not that I want us to sell him, to me he's one of our best players, so unless it was an absolutely huge silly offer ......1

Or Ramsay could sign a new contract with a release/relegation clause? Do we know negotiations aren’t going on?? If it’s put in front of him and he doesn’t want to sign then he can be sold.1
