    I "liked" that but it genuinely killed me to have to be seen to praise a Surrey player. Will have to balance things out once Jacks, Overton or Curran gets smashed for 18 in an over by one of the Mosca or Manenti brothers.

    Well that we have it. Jacks goes for 13 in his first over but "betters" that in his second by going for no less than 21. Luckily, he saves a bit of face by taking a wicket off his final ball to give him 1-34 off two overs.

    Tbf i have no idea why Brook is bowling him, he has enough options not to in these conditions.

    Manenti after a couple more sixes has just been caught but a good knock of 60 from 25 to keep Italy interested in this..

    Finding myself not caring that much - even if we scrape home we've had tight games v Nepal, Scotland and Italy and lost to the only half decent team.

    We're not beating anyone decent or going past the Super 8 so only a bit of avoiding embarrassment that matters.

    You never know though. The thing with this format is that you sometimes just need 1 player to go crazy with the bat and it can be enough to win.
