    Best review ever that one crashing into middle stump... Now brook is gonna have to go T20 mode it seems.

    And people will keep telling me its got nothing to do with not having a warm up game. If not, then we should have them 5 down before the close.

    I just hope that when it's England's turn to bowl that we bowl a full length and target the stumps. 
    This is basically what New Zealand have done and the wicket has rewarded them.
    None of this short pitched crap please England.

    Seeing as they've had no warm up as a team then the same bowlers they've been facing in their County matches, which has been assumed to be good enough 🤷‍♂️.

    And NZ played against Ireland. Hardly a stern test either. But at least they played together as a team in Test match conditions. 

    As an aside I was listening to Test Match Special this morning during the rain break. Some great points made by Agnew & Vaughan on thus very subject. Talking about the lack of a warm up match before the Ashes series just gone & how the ECB have now changed this going forward.

    Robinson has always had the quality,  it’s his attitude and fitness that has caused concern. 
    If he can stay focused he can have a great few years for England.
