    Surely the Nigel's have got enough money that they should be forced to pay to find a solution for this?

    Mahmud has been recalled by the Bangladesh Cricket Board - they game two reasons which really don't sit comfortably with each other. The first is because of his workload to date and the second is due to them wanting him to be available for the Asian Games which start soon.

    Only just catching up in today's CL posts so may have missed something important.

    But when we arrived home from the match this evening, there was a package with our address on the label in the porch. 

    But it was addressed to " Gene" not "Jean"- maybe sent by a dyslexic acqaintance? Surely not the irresistible Radostanradical who secretly lusts after me  :D ?

    Anyway, after shaking it, listening intently in case it was ticking, I gave it to Mr F to open this unexpected parcel.

    Curiouser and curiouser, said Alice, as a litre bottle of TanUlike factor 150 dropped out  , followed by a smart umbrella lettered around the handle with the words " Singing and Dancing in the  Sun". Hmmm. Odd, but I did need a "new " brolly .....And finally, a very screwed up straw hat emerged looking a somewhat sad late addition forced into miniscule remaining space in the parcel. 

    ...then all of a sudden, realisation dawned  :open_mouth:

    A week ago, on Sepember 5th, it was our 56th wedding anniversary( probably named The Surprise ...) which we didn't mark as usual these days but will remember for the defeat ar Stoke . However, we did agree to celebrate belatedly during the International Break by splashing out & booking a weekend in Southend! Woohoo ! 

    And taking another look at Mr F's sheepish face, it was as clear as mud that he had secretly upgraded our break to one in somewhere warmer climes- parasol, sun hat, sun screen were the obvious clues ! DOH !!!

    So, the cunning plan was revealed !

    In 2 weeks' time we're off to an idyllic sunshine week in Ceuta !!!

    Can't wait ! And I'm assured we'll be able to stream the final match in Canterbury from our 5 star mobile home there !
