Milnes then should have had Rocky Flintoff LBW next ball. Looked absolutely plumb. He now has the figures of 9-5-10-20
-
Make that bang, bang, bang, bang!!!!
This time Rocky is given out LBW by the umpire off the bowling of Ahmed
82-4 (32.5) from 81-04 -
This just goes to show that one wicket can change everything and if you keep putting the ball in the right areas then wickets will follow. Milnes and Ahmed combined: 18-9-28-41
-
Been feeling pretty down for a while but this has brought a little smile to my old chops.
Bless 'em !1 -
Bohannon dropped at fourth slip off the bowling of Milnes0
-
So, Lancs to amass over 500, any takers;)1
-
Quinn has Bohannon caught behind
115-53 -
81-0 + 34-50
-
George Bell, on loan from Lancashire, scored 61* out of Essex's total of 134 all out. Good job Lancs don't need a batter let alone one that can keep too especially as their chosen keeper, Hurst, averages just 18.04 this season in Div 20
-
Crawley drops Shetty at slip off Ahmed. He might have thought that Benjamin was going for it but it was a good height and should have been taken.
140-5 (51)1 -

Ahmed it is
161 all out3 -
Anderson edges to slips first ball and Khaled gets his fifth. Will be on a hat trick at the beginning of the next innings1
-

Milnes & Ahmed: 31.5-13-70-91

At lunch we were the worst placed of the nine bowling sides today. It looks now like only a couple will bowl out the opposition for less than we have. An incredible turnaround.
The other positive thing is that Derbyshire against Northants have gone from 107-6 to 228-6 mainly thanks to an unbeaten century from Madsen.3 -
Turned out well so far. 3 bowling points and not given away too many free runs.
Time for the batsmen to do their bit and pick up some batting points plus exerting scoreboard pressure for the second innings.1 -
Will be interesting to see what James Anderson will do on this pitch though!0

Time for Crawley and Compton to earn their money.000__Jaaaaay__000 said:Will be interesting to see what James Anderson will do on this pitch though!0
