This innings is becoming a bit too much of a repeat of our last one. Currently, 43-2 off 14, we were 76-3 off 20 against Gloucs and by bar Ekansh, not one player managed to score at a run a ball.

Finch then takes 10 off the nest over and with two wides on top we swiftly move to 55-2 off 15

I think we've gone in with a very cautious approach, as being a new ground, there's zero data as to how the pitch will play, and what a par score is. The pitch doesn't look that easy to bat on, so 10 wides is helping.

That delivery to Finch was unplayable, steep bounce off a length.

Finch gets one that climbs off a length and is caught at slip for 21 (37)

This might be a pitch were 240-250 is a decent score but, at 57-3 (15.5) we might struggle to get that

It looks like the sort of pitch where winning the toss and putting the opposition in is king. That wasn't the case against Gloucs where we just batted poorly.

Benjamin misses a full toss and is given out LBW for 14 (18). Can't blame the pitch for that one.

    90-4 (21.4)

Stewart has been sent in with one obvious aim!

15 overs left. A good time for Evison to bat sensibly and try and get some form back.

Oh dear. And I’m hoping to be at a few of the upcoming games (Somerset on Friday at Canterbury, Notts on Sunday at Beckenham, and away to Warks at Rugby School). Changes needed.

This is a tougher track to be fair where anything in excess of 200 might be a winning total if we bowl well. It's a bit of a sxxx or bust one though and should any of the Lancs batters manage to ride their luck in taking the game to the opposition, as none of ours have succeeded or not even tried doing, then we will be in trouble.

Evison caught at deep midwicket off Bailey's final ball, which has to be slightly questioned, for 19 (29).

Dudgeon showing he's anything but the worst number 10 in the game. In fact, with 25 off 19 to date, he is the only batter to have scored in excess of a run a ball.

    217-9 (45)

223 all out (46.5) This game isn't over. Yet.

Parkinson LBW for a duck. Dudgeon with 31* off 25 left stranded. Extras did well for us with 26 too.

Once again, a lot is being asked of the bowlers. Lancs can pace their reply without taking risks. Here’s hoping our seamers can deliver. And Parky will always want to do well against his old team.

17 from W Ides was a decent contribution.

We've actually bowled OK without actually threatening that much

Lancs can afford to be cautious. And we don't have a bowler with the pace and bounce of Stanley
