Thought he played very well, would have loved shot to have gone in.
Can’t wait to see the Kenyan fans reaction when he does score, especially if it’s a winning goal or important equaliser.
I think a statue has already been mentioned

Defensively Coventry is good, in attack though... Meh, very wasteful. I think you'll find he misplaced 5-6 forward passes his pass completion rate is massively buffered by the one twos with defence.
Whereas Dobson barely misplaced a pass but then he never attempted to play a forward pass and affect the game that way. Easy when it's five yard backward and sideways passes.

Genuinely no words. What a good player

Nah just cramp he’ll be fine

Is that confirmed, would be excellent news. Thought he was holding his hamstring.

My first watch of him and he looked excellent. Looks like genuinely good recruitment.  I hope that if we stay up, there are a few more like him already earmarked.  Tall, strong, quick and with very good ability.  What's not to like.

    Very impressed.

Defensively aggressive, with the brain and ability with the ball to play between the lines.

Was running down the wing in front of me and I agree with Afka that Collins pulled up holding his hammy. Signalled to the bench to come off but looked like he was told to continue. Hopefully it was only tight and not a pull.

Would people play him next week instead of bringing back Coady? Assuming Burke is ou
They play two different positions? Do you want Sichenje in midfield?
This, if we could convert him into a Patrick Vieira-style central midfielder, that could be delicious.

There was a translated article on here a while ago, I think he previously played DM either in Sweden or Finland.

Yes definitely pulled up holding his hammy.

He had cramp at Southampton,  so still getting used to the intensity of the Championship.

He didn't go off, which is a good sign. No way would he have continued if it was a hamstring injury,  even if we had to go down to 10 men.

very impressed so far, barely put a foot wrong and even stopped an earthquake in nairobi by skying that volley that fell to him

Yeah I think that was the reason he didn't start today. Jones has made comments about easing him in and managing his minutes as he adapts to the league and intensity, and he hadn't played for 5 weeks before signings. Twice now he's come off the bench and played significant minutes when we wanted to rest him.

Hope he's ok. The giant Moore had a proper hissy fit when receiving Collins attentions.

  • He was quality today

    He’s brilliant - we’ve unearthed a gem

bit of a rough diamond at the moment, but can’t fault his commitment and he actually tries to pass forward into feet

He definitely wanted to go off but we had no subs left

Looks a very good prospect so far, for someone adapting he’s hit the ground running & looks like he has got a good pass on him too

Could be a very good sign for summer recruitment if this is the quality we are finding outside of the UK.

He signalled to the bench as soon as it happened, but got waved by Jones to go up front. Tried to make his way back to position, signalled again and again got told be Jones and another coach to go up top.

Very much hope it was cramp but looked it quite a bit of discomfort. Definite hamstring area

“He has done well. He picked up a little injury today and we’re hoping that is not too bad.”

It's on the management team if so!

Looked v similar to Bell v Chelsea which was three weeks out for Bell- hoping it’s no worse than that. Definitely hamstring rather than cramp and although we’d used all the subs think we should still have taken him off or at minimum made sure no-one passed to him. He put a ball into the box later and winced again.

That's shocking from Jones, if so. Protect your players in actions ffs, not in words post match.

After a pre-season with us, he'll be second on the team sheet after Jones next season. Looks very good and will only get better (if doesn't fall victim to our injury curse!)

Could have been either he pulled up held his hammy, may have been cramp in his hammy🤷🏻‍♂️… but to me it was a reaction you would make after a pull rather than cramp, but I’m no physio.

Jones post-match admits he picked up a little injury and we’ll have to see - that doesn’t sound like cramp, I’m afraid.
