Just like in the reverse fixture, where we actually played alright in the first half and should’ve been ahead through Knibbs hitting the bar, the way to go against Wrexham is a box in midfield.

Without some important players, it’ll be interesting to see if that box is with a back 5 or with a 4.

The issue is, if we do go with a box, it means we lose a lot of pace, unless we go with a 4 in defence and start TC alongside Dykes.

So for me, if Jones and Kaminski are both out, I’d like to see something along the lines of…

    Mannion
    Ramsay Sichenje Bell Chambers
    Coventry Docherty
    Carey Fullah
    TC
    Dykes

Otherwise am not too sure. Feel this kind of team leans itself more towards playing a bit more football and attacking Wrexham. But misses a lot of the physicality needed too. The battle is going to be whoever marks Moore. If it’s Sichenje we could be in for a fun ride. However, I see Moore putting himself against Ramsay whatever happens, be it a back 3 or 4.

I think we might go with the box we saw a couple of games ago with Carey and TC as the 10’s, then you can play a back 3 with wingbacks and keep TC’s pace

A drastic improvement from the last two needed here. Worrying if there’s no Lloyd Jones.

Think Fevrier offers more than Campbell - better in defence, at least as good in attack.

Agree Lloyd will be a big miss if not playing, sichenje is definitely getting a championship baptism of fire, I think he’s up to it though.🤞

Full Valley Express coach today. Either people detest Wrexham as much as I do or they are hoping for a couple of film 'stars' autographs.

I spoke to Lloyd in Sainsburys car park in Eltham Wednesday afternoon (seen him there a couple of times) I asked how his ankle was and he said it's not good. He said he injured it against Sheffield Utd and was advised to rest and not play for 3-4 weeks but the instruction to to the physios was to just strap it up which is what's been happening. I did say to him perhaps once we're safe he can rest up then but he said he wants POY and sounded determined to play so we'll see. Told him POY might be difficult given the votes Sichenje was getting he agreed and said it's crazy.

Disappointed to hear that Lloyd is walking around Sainsbury's on his rest day and on his bad ankle when Charlton fans could do it for him or he could have a home delivery🤷🏻‍♂️

    The main question is ?

Does Lloyd Jones have Red or Brown sauce 🤔

If he was that good Stockport wouldn't have loaned him out, and he'd have started a lot more games for them. He has something to offer, but doesn't have the pace TC does and probably not the fitness either.

Kayne Ramsay, no relation to Jacob Ramsey at Newcastle ! States Charlton have 12 'cup finals' left to play,
I'm glad he said 12 cup finals and not 12 cup ties with our record in cup competitions.

Seen two magpies together and a black cat today.

    Surely it’s a sign.

    But he wasn't walking !

@Nutz55 said he was in the car park.

His partner was just helping him out of their trolley .

No Lloyd on the socials turning up at the valley, hoping we are keeping them guessing.

Am sure Wrexham would have seen him turn up without relying on Socials ;)

It'll be a good day for Collingwood and Sunderland.

Wrexham play two systems one at home ( that’s why Dobson don’t play home games ) and away games where they normally go 5 across mid .. if they do that today against our 3 that’s where the game will be won or lost ….. perhaps we should match up 451 … if we want to get anything from today’s game …

George has played 31 league games this season 🤔
    All away ........
So they should be if they want to play in the English league system.

    😉

Charlton multiverse: he's replacing TK in goal and he arrived at the ground two hours early for extra practise.

We really have to start winning at some point. If West Brom was a game that a lot of fans were willing to "take a point" at, what games are we going to win? Blackburn are having a new manager bounce. Portsmouth are in decent form. We can't be "settling for points" especially at home.

Can’t help it but it really is sticking in my throat every time someone writes, Wrexham are better than us like we are talking about Liverpool or someone. I m also pleased as usual on here most are predicting us to lose in some type of reverse psychology hope we will win. We are at home and have a good chance of points.
Liverpool are a good reference point. Wrexham’s revenue is huge and the gulf in budgets and therefore quality is about the same as Liverpool and say Wolves.

In all honesty I just picked a big club, wasn’t loads of thought, was just useful as an example.

The results are going perfectly for us, if we were to win today I'd say we will be pretty much safe from the drop.
