They were 2 really good goals though. Some of the highest average goal quality of any Charlton player. Maybe Cameron Stewart beats him or somethingGarrymanilow said:
He was one I had to really consider but after a good start he dropped off badly. 2 goals in 20 appearances where he looked worse and worse and then missing a last minute 1 on 1 against Millwall to stop us finally beating them puts him in the let down pile unfortunatelyLeuth said:@Garrymanilow including Tucudean on that list has upset me so much I'm only 'utterly delighted' by the TC news rather than 'bouncing off the fucking walls'
I vote Lewis Page for this accolade2 -
Tash Everitt confirming the same info as @stjohnshill 👀👀9

Didn't Morgan Fox also score once ever and it was a bit of a screamerEmason32 said:Leuth said:

I'm gonna say minimum 2 goals for the AGQ Cup. Also fuck it I'll start a thread1

We are an energetic side because that’s what Jones expects. Having fresh legs that offer more of the same is essential in the way we play. We don’t want player burn out like we saw with TC and Carey last season. It’s a squad game and we’ll need that squad.6

I maintain to this day that he wasnt a bad signing. He needed to adapt to English football, if we had kept Yann around for him to learn from and have less pressure to deliver on day one I am convinced he could have been a class player for us.Garrymanilow said:

Unless Palace think, if he plays well, they can recall him in January to sell him for more money...stoneroses19 said:Not sure why last two pages people are suddenly talking about JRS as a loan. Can’t see that happening at all, he has one year left, Palace will want money now, not losing him on a free later on. If he comes here, it’s on a permanent deal.
Bit of a Chelsea and Gallagher plan.1 -
Tomorrow is all about the night out, but if we can sign JRS and then go and beat Preston Saturday, I don’t think this week could have been better to be a Charlton fan for 20+ years.40

It’s funny isn’t it, someone says it first then everyone else just follows.2

Don't think that's Tash's deal at all. If it was, she'd have been doing it all summer. She's a professional journalist trying to make a career, just copying someone else would be career suicide for her000__Jaaaaay__000 said:It’s funny isn’t it, someone says it first then everyone else just follows.36 -
If he keeps scoring and looking composed in doing so he will be worth a lot of dough, if!!🤞ShootersHillGuru said:I’ll be absolutely gobsmacked if by May we’re all not seriously worried by the interest that’s being shown by other clubs in TC. I can genuinely see him attracting offers in excess of £10 million by that point.0 -
I really liked him. I thought he was the the next Yann after that performance against Derby. Unfortunately he only really had one more good showing after that and he went full Leicester Yann instead of Charlton Yann. He also looked like he wasn’t too bothered about his fitness and you could see his effort levels drop. There’s another timeline where we keep him and Vetokele fit and interested and we have a hell of a seasoncantersaddick said:

I think he will get his chances, TC burnt out last season and will have the odd dip in form, gives NJ the chance to keep things fresh and push the squad with competition, players will know they have to stay at a level or be fighting for a spot in the team.ProperCharlton said:I wonder how Millenic Alli feels about TC signing a new deal and JRS potentially being signed. I can't see him starting many games2 -
Wasn't Tash fan liaison at the club or some such?
I haven't seen her posting any unsubstantiated rumours over the summer so I figure the info she has must be accurate, and she's doing something with Sky Sports too?3 -
Last season we had a good side but one or two injuries/absences at once saw us struggling to keep consistent and having to make do and mend in terms of players not in their best positions.ShootersHillGuru said:We are an energetic side because that’s what Jones expects. This season hopefully wont be so bad for that and hopefully we are able to cover injuries/suspensions like for like.1 -
TC and JRS either wing 😳4

She doesn’t seem the type to post unsubstantiated rumours . Really hope it’s happened and it’s permanent .11
